"Exxcell Landscaping is the best!!! Very prompt and affordable! I have had other companies work on my yard previously but none compare to Exxcell. They removed weeds, fixed pavers, trimmed trees, and bushes and it looked great! They will be my go-to guys from here on out. Thank you for leaving my yard looking amazing!"

Customers say: True professional

"Mario and his crew showed up on time did an excellent job removing major branches from a large Acacia tree, thinning out the growth and making the tree look more balanced and lighter, while still preserving the canopy. They did a great job cleaning up and hauling away all the tree limbs and branches, and I am extremely satisfied with the work they did."

"I couldn't be happier with the performance of Stepping-Stone Landscaping's removal of debris from my property after the storm of July 17, 2023 in Tucson. The job involved removing a 30' saguaro, 35' hybrid mesquite and a desert willow downed by the storm. They removed two large trailer loads of limbs, branches, followed by a thorough sweeping of the small debris. In addition Skyler did an excellent job trimming another, even larger mesquite. I will hire them any time I need landscaping services."

"Hire them! The owner met with me personally, and from the start I could see how much care he puts into his family-owned business. He returned with a talented team and worked right alongside them. They removed a large tree, completed major trimming, and reclaimed the entire fenceline skillfully. They treated my disabled veteran father with genuine respect, and the quality of their work reflects the attention they give to every detail. Our family is truly grateful, and I recommend them without hesitation."

Leaf Removal questions, answered by experts

If your roof was constructed between 1930 and 1970, there’s a possibility that the shingles contain asbestos. If that’s the case, you should hire a professional for repairs and replacement, as they’ll have the necessary equipment to stay safe from such a hazardous and cancer-causing substance. If your home was constructed after this period, it’s unlikely that the shingles in place are toxic. In most cases, asbestos shingles are not recyclable, while standard asphalt shingles are recyclable.

If lead is detected in a property, steps should include arranging for professional removal or containment, notifying all occupants, and implementing interim safety measures to reduce exposure.

Disposing of old paint, bleach, oil, and fertilizer should be handled by a company that specializes in this kind of waste. Many private junk removal companies do not dispose of these items. Because these materials are hazardous to the environment and dangerous to handle or dispose of improperly, you should confirm with your local municipality about places to take hazardous materials for safe disposal.

The safest way to remove lead-based paint is by letting a professional take over. For most people, lead paint removal costs an average of $3,400. You should never attempt to dry sand old lead-based paint surfaces by hand. Most professionals use a paint stripper to do the job followed by wet scraping, but if you don’t want to remove lead paint, another option is to paint over it. Only consider this option if the old lead paint finish isn’t flaking or cracked.

You can sell a house with lead paint, but there are several requirements. If you are aware that lead paint exists anywhere in the home, you must disclose that to potential buyers. Required home inspections will often uncover lead paint, especially for older houses where lead paint may still be a problem. If you have taken steps to encapsulate lead, you should provide buyers with full documentation of the project so it won’t cause any problems later on.
