"No call no show 7 times in 17 days. Caused the sale of my home to be canceled. The crew sent out caused damage to my patio table set by dropping a roofing tile and shattered my glass. The crew threw spiked pigeon barrier on my driveway and we drove over it luckily no tire damage there. The crew threw material from the roof breaking lower roof tile and stuff being thrown in my pool. Owner Bryan Brown stated he was going to replace the table and because my table ins't available and the cheapest replacement I could find online was in the $500 range plus tax and shipping. He offered me $400 instead. I wasn't happy taking a loss but asked when I would be paid I was told a check the next day and someone would also be fixing my broken tile they damaged at the same time. Then as usual no call no show 2 days later I reach out and I'm told check in the mail and they are so slammed someone will be out next week to fix damage. After not receiving check I reach out to owner who now says check was sent yesterday which was 3 days later than my 3 text messages state it was confirmed as sent. Because I was upset and expressed my dissatisfaction the owner stated "who do I think I am? Nobody talks to him like that because he has bent over backwards and is paying me more than my table is worth" He has accused me of berating his company, he has reached out to a non related air conditioning company doing work in my home and stated everyone is on his side. Nobody cares about my complaints. He threatened with lawyers on retainer, told me to cease and desist yet called me 3 times and sent me 3 harassing messages. Said I'm an untruthful person because I didn't have my house sold(I have a buyer contract to prove) I also have a recorded call with investor backing out because the roof damage. He stated I'm just not a good individual and that's the facts he's going to tell everybody. I am a disabled person who is currently undergoing medical treatments and suffer panic and anxiety disorder. I didn't do anything but expect this company to DO WHAT THEY SAY. Bryan asked Who do I think I am? My answer is the CUSTOMER/ HOMEOWNER who makes it possible for you to do work and get paid."

We manufacture Advanced Energy Panels (AEPs). AEPs are a retrofit for historic windows or any window people can't afford or don’t wish to replace. AEPs are interior window insulating panels and can be installed in any building –office, home or industrial. AEPs have a higher insulation and air sealing rating and provide greater comfort than most replacement windows, yet they are a fraction of the cost. AEPs are custom made to fit over existing openings, protecting, preserving and improving your existing windows.

"My husband and I met with ACE Design and Drafting (ACE) in August 2023 to review the drawings we had prepared and conduct an interview regarding skills, experience, and process in preparing the plans. As a result of the interview, in August 2023 we entered into an agreement for ACE to prepare building ready plans for our project. The estimate to complete the plans was 3 months. Although our experience with ACE began as amiable, it slowly deteriorated to less than satisfactory. Our verbal phone communication and interaction with ACE soured, and we were no longer able to communicate/interact with ACE verbally over the phone, only by email. Unfortunately, communication with ACE through email did not improve. Our communication issues or lack of communication with and from ACE caused a considerable delay of the submittal of our plans to the County. They were not able to be submitted to the County for initial review until February 2024, nearly six (6) months after entering into the agreement with ACE. We experienced unfavorable interactions with ACE which are noted below. · ACE misplaced the drawings we provided. As we did not have a second copy of the drawings (our mistake), this delayed ACE in preparing the plans. We were in California, so it was necessary to travel to Lake Havasu City, Arizona and assist ACE in locating the drawings in the office. · The plans were submitted to Mohave County (County) for review and the County noted various corrections/redlines were required. ACE was contacted by letter which detailed the redlines needed for the house and shop. Per the County, ACE did not make all the required corrections/redlines (although our agreement states required corrections will be made when ordered by the County). The County representative was very helpful and was able to make the remaining required corrections/redlines as noted below. o House § Correction requested - Wall bracing for this structure does not meet minimum of code. Please revise. (Ref. IRC 2018 R602.10) · This was as a result of stucco vs metal siding. The correction from wording of stucco to metal siding was noted on the plans, however, the legend which showed wall board was being used was incorrect as was the use of the wall board legend icon (a 3 in a triangle) noted around the exterior of the structure. As our home would have metal siding, wall board is not required. However, sheathing (a 2 in a triangle) is required on the entire exterior of structure. The County made the correction by striking through the “wall board” legend icon and replacing in red ink the “sheathing” legend icon. o Shop § Correction requested -Header over garage door fails loading. Please revise. (Ref. IRC 2018 R301.1) · The plans show a correction of a “4x12 header”; however, in this situation a 6x12 header was required. The County made the correction by striking through “4x12 header” and replacing in red ink “6x12 header”."

Arizona Color Quest Painting has been a licensed and bonded company since 2001. Roc #170899 I started in the painting, drywall and wall covering industry in 1983 when I was 16 years old. Since then I have worked with some of Arizona's largest painting companies such as Pete King and Ghaster Painting completing many jobs in both commercial and residential. I completed top of my class 3 years interior decorating and design through the Phoenix Painters Union Local 86 and I have worked on projects such as the Wildlife World Zoo building and painting exhibits for over 10 years, Phoenix City Hall, Pointe resorts as well as many residential projects new and repaint. I have a vast knowledge in the construction industry and don't "just throw the paint on". I know what causes the underlying problems and how to CORRECTLY fix it. I was also a Superintendent for Del Webb Coventry and participated in the building of many large housing divisions such as Anthem, Sun City West, Sun City Grand, McDowell Mountain Ranch Stetson Hills and Kensington Estates in Mesa just to name a few. I have a very strong reputation for my integrity and quality and can provide many reliable and VERY satisfied references upon request. I have never had any complaints with ROC and provide a high quality job with attention to detail. If you are looking fo a low ball scab painter then I am not your painter. I believe in quality over quantity and with quality quantitiy will come. For a FREE ESTIMATE please call Duane Osborne at 623-332-8480. Thank you.

Storm Shelters questions, answered by experts

Building permits serve a few purposes, the most important of which is to keep you and the people around you safe by ensuring your contractor does work safely and to code. Permits also help your municipality tax your property appropriately, as taxes are based on land improvements and the upgrades you make to your home. Finally, permits ensure your project won’t have a negative impact on the environment or your neighbors.

Absolutely! You can tailor the design to meet your specific needs and preferences. Whether it's adding amenities, adjusting dimensions, or choosing different materials, customizing your storm shelter ensures it suits your family's requirements and offers the utmost comfort and safety during severe weather. So go ahead and create a shelter that perfectly fits your unique needs!

Concrete blocks are the cheapest way to base a shed. However, the space in between allows critters to go under, burrow, and even damage your shed’s frame. For a more pest-proof option, consider building a shed base with gravel or paver stones. Both options are fairly affordable and easy enough for a DIY project. For gravel, you can build a wooden frame to contain the loose material.

Several companies rent out storage pods for moving, including PODS, UHaul, UPack, and 1-800-PACK-RAT. Compare moving pods vs. trucks to decide the best option for your move, then shop around to find the best deal for the size container you need.

Yes, there are a few different ways you can finance new construction. Some lenders offer new construction loans that cover the building costs and then convert to a standard mortgage once construction is complete. Some custom homebuilders also offer financing options that only require a down payment before you begin the building process. Construction loans are possible, as well, although they typically only cover the building process, and you’ll need to pay in full once the house is completed.
