"Day one had to loan technician tools to do job. Could not run temporary line as he had left it at another job. Was told emergency service would be applied to line replacement It was not. No show no call two days. When I called on friday to see what was up was told a manager would call back. He called but didnt know anything about me calling Friday. He was calling to collect for an uncompleted job. Debris were left at front door a pile of chipped cement where 90 year old blind woman has to pop out to get her newspaper. Then not once but two different times the same individual left the front porch chairs blocking the front door. Had she come out she could have fallen. They left her without water for 5 hours. Could not take her pills. Large Bush still tied up the way they left it. They went through all the trouble to run a solid ground wire from the street to house only to splice 2 ft away. To contact Mr Rooter Tucson you have to call Colorado. No local support. Says family owned but where is the family? Have photos to prove."

Excavating questions, answered by experts

Depth is not a qualifying component of evacuation. Any human-made cut, cavity, or depression in the earth’s surface is considered excavation. The hole from excavation can be any size, shape, or depth. Excavation is used to create foundations, reservoirs, drainage ditches, and roads. Long, narrow excavations are called trenches and are often used for underground utilities.

You can bury underground electrical wire six inches deep—but only if you use a rigid metal electrical conduit. For rigid, non-metallic conduits, bury the wire at least 12 inches deep. If using an underground feeder cable rated for direct burial, you'll need to place it at least 18 inches deep, as it has no conduit for extra protection.

Digging a bush up by the roots is the most natural DIY method for removing a bush stump. Start by identifying the shrub type and revealing its roots. Cut the shrub to its base and loosen the soil, ensuring no utility lines are nearby. Optionally, treat the base with herbicide, then dig around the roots and cut a circle around the shrub using various tools. Dig a trench, cut the base of the root ball, and finally fill the hole to prevent regrowth. This thorough process ensures complete removal without damaging surrounding areas.

Consultation with the local government helps identify necessary permits, avoid project delays or legal issues, and protect project integrity.

Yes, trenchers can go through gravel. Gravel is made up of smaller, softer rocks that certain trenchers are able to cut through. Just be sure to use a rock wheel trencher or chain trencher, both of which are made to cut through rocky landscapes and gravel pathways without dulling the teeth or chain.
