Project almost complete. They are doing a beautiful job and are hard workers, large project and it's been 1 1/2 weeks and almost finished.

I felt pressured/rushed into signing a contract. I had asked for an estimate, and when the gentleman showed up, he wrote out a contract instead of an estimate. The pricing for the removal of 3 concrete and rock steps, installation of 5 brick steps and 2 handrails was ridiculously high but I wasnâ t given a chance to shop around. The contract didnâ t break down material costs, labor costs or taxes. It was a quick installation of the steps but shoddy work. The bottom step fell apart within the 1st week, causing my 83 yr old stepdad to fall. This company subcontracted for my handrails. There was a complete lack of communication between this company and the rail company. It took over 6 weeks to complete this simple job. . The railings were installed after 4 weeks. While it literally took all day to install the rails, they did turn out quite nice. Also, I was promised replacement bricks in case of chips or breaks in the future and still havenâ t received those. All things considered, I donâ t think I would recommend this company.

Over priced estimate for work done. Over charged down payment for normal 35 percent noted on estimate paperwork. Ask for samples of previous work done before considering. Owner (?) estimater did accept the payment for work done as total, stated the workers were trying to save me money. Probably charged 1 1/2 times value of work actually competed.

I have yet to receive the final itemized bill. The seal that was applied half looks good the other half looks like there was no coating applied.

When Blue Ribbon installed my turf they offered a lifetime warranty. Phil (the owner) recommended and he reassured me that the turf he was recommending is what he would use in his own yard and he would warrant against the turf showing any wear or laying flat. In less then a year the turf started to show wear and frayed and was laying flat, it also looked like it had melted in places. The turf does not get a lot of traffic since I live alone with my two Scottie dogs and I am here only part time. I contacted the owner, Phil, in April 2021 via text and left a message on his phone and many more after that date, I did finally get a call back from Phil in November 2021 and he came to my home to look at the turf and he indicated that the turf was defective and he would schedule a replacement. As of today January 17th 2022 I have never heard back from Phil after calling and texting him numerous times reiterating I was dissatisfied with him and Blue Ribbon. Since I have not heard back from Phil I will be taking additional action. Phil promotes a life time warranty and service when he is at your home selling you his product and urges you to sign and make a down payment before he leaves because his price is only good the day of his visit. That being said please beware before signing anything with Phil. Since I am new to the area moving from Washington I wish I would have talked with my neighbors here in the Highlands before signing with Phil due to their frustrations with Blue Ribbon and Phil.

I am extremely happy with my patio. They were able to start weeks sooner than originally quoted and had the job done within two days. It required them removing the old patio pavers and extending the size of the patio and installing new pavers. The work is beautiful the workers were fantastic, polite, experienced and a pleasure to have at me home. I would recommend this company 100%.

We had Phil's company, Blue Ribbon Pavers LLC, remove a concrete driveway and install pavers. The team was very experienced, timely, and qualified. The team, Richard, David, and Luis started each morning around 7:15 and worked diligently during the day. Each member of the team had a specific job to do and it was conducted with harmony. They definitely know what is required. The driveway was completed on time and has added a bit of class to the house. Phil and Crew; great job!

New pavers for front walkway are beautiful. Installers very kind, efficient and responsive. Very pleased.

I had root problems under the pavers . They removed the roots, put in a root barrier and re-installed the pavers. The also sealed the remaining pavers. They did an excellent job.

The wall that they built is absolutely beautiful..classic. The cactus garden repair is perfect. And the driveway Phil suggested with pavers worked out so well. I truly love all the work their experts did and made my old home look more beautiful.

I hired Blue Ribbon to replace my old asphalt driveway with brick pavers. They did an excellent job. I am in love with my new driveway! They started the job almost immediately and the crew was prompt, professional and extremely neat with tearing out the old asphalt and cleaning out the path for the new brick driveway. And they were working in 110 degree heat for 2 of the 4 days it took them to do my new driveway. I also had lights put on the border on both sides which are light sensitive and come on at night. It just looks so beautiful! Their work transformed and updated my home. I highly recommend Blue Ribbon for their high quality of work, price and efficiency.

The owner gave the sparsest possible written estimate, using words, no sentences. Did not notify me of a date when his workers would show up. 2 of the 18 plants were missing, so one worker made another trip for them. Workers were not given instructions as to what they were to do. The spacing of the plants was not even. Colors of bricks were not alternated (as requested). Insufficient pea gravel was delivered and not all the areas were covered. The owner called me (at 6:30 a.m. on the following Monday!) to get a balance of his money. I gave him something about the completion of the project being pending. He asked me not to write a negative review here, cashed the check after 2 weeks, and left the job unfinished. Beware and take precautions with this contractor. Do not give big down payment as I did and do not give more until the job is completed. Get 3 detailed written estimates, check references, read reviews on other sites where very negative reviews of this contractor are written. This is the second review given but the first has not been posted here.

Phil and his Blue Ribbon team completed an amazing paver block job, (driveway and courtyard) a few years back! since then and recently he has completed a few extra tasks and coating! Blue ribbon always does a high quality job! all of there workers are very efficient, friendly and hard working!!! I couldn't be happier with the results! Because i believe in his team i have made several referrals! And all of my referrals are likewise pleased!

I worked initially with Philip. He was very accommodating and had some good suggestions for my project. Then I worked with two men who were on time, listened and answered my questions and ultimately did a beautiful job on installing pavers in my front yard. I highly recommend this company for your brick and stone projects.
