"We had our flooring removed, Zach came out and removed all of the old tile and debris, we chose Double Eagle for the job because Zach responded quickly, he was able to meet our needs and timeline for the job. We would definitely call Zach in the future for other services needed. The pricing is also very competitive."

"I was seeking a Cleaning Service that would accommodate my immediate need to have my guest bedroom and bath cleaned while considering my budget. I have used many Cleaning Services over the years however WST Cleaning Service was heads and shoulders above all the others I have experienced. WSTâ  s representstive came in to clean a guest bedroom and bath that had been inhabited by a relative that did not care for nor clean the area for almost two years. The space was in terrible condition and required a deep, deep cleaning. WSTâ  s representstive literal transformed the space through deeply cleaning both areas so much so that the ENERGY of the space became clean, lighter and uplifting. WSTâ  s representative was compassionate and made me feel that she treated my home with the same respect and care that she would her own home. This is very rare for most cleaning services and I feel very blessed and highly recommended this company to everyone. SS, Scottsdale, AZ"

Garbage Collection questions, answered by experts

Soil is just one of the items you shouldn't put down a garbage disposal. Garbage disposals are only meant for soft, non-fibrous foods. Large amounts of topsoil, dirt, or rocks will damage the blades of your garbage disposal or clog the pipes. If a small amount of dirt goes down the drain as you repot a plant, you shouldn't have to worry, but never dump a whole pot of soil in the sink for fast disposal.

To prevent drain clogs, perform regular maintenance and cleaning. Avoid disposing of substances like grease or coffee grounds down the sink. Additionally, installing and routinely using drain strainers can help catch debris and prevent blockages from forming.

If you cook a lot or have a larger household, a garbage disposal can be worth it, since it streamlines your kitchen duties and helps to keep food waste out of landfills. It helps to know the cost of garbage disposal installation before you make your decision. The average price is about $400, but you can expect to pay more for higher-end models or if you hire a pro to do the job for you.

It’s one thing that helps, alongside vinegar and baking soda. Ice acts as an exfoliant, helping to lift off any bits of food stuck on the disposal blades.

On average, a garbage disposal can last anywhere from 7 to 12 years, with many models functioning well for about 10 years. With heavy usage, a motor may last a minimum of five years, while grinding plates will wear down over time. It's generally a good idea to consider a replacement if your unit is approaching the 10-year mark. Other signs that it's time for a new disposal include frequent leaks, persistent clogs, lingering odors, lack of power, or unusual noises. If your unit is not that old, it's worth investigating if a less expensive part, like a rubber seal or a loose hose, is causing the issue.
