Dustin is on time, professional, experienced, and doesn't even mind me following him around and asking questions. Setting up the appointment was easy and he was out here within a couple days of my call. Dustin has gone the extra mile both times he has been to my home - from lighting the pilot light on a gas fireplace, to replacing an old dryer vent flex line, to climbing on the roof and reattaching a vent hood. I highly recommend Abetter Vent Cleaning and thank the guys for all of their hard work. You have no idea what a difficult decision this was for me, I started the process in October last year and met with 9 different pool companies, and ended up getting quotes from 5. I did more research and learned more about what's needed to build a pool, than I ever thought I would want to. What it came down to was customer service, service, tenure and reputation of the company and of course price always comes into play but was not the most important. In fact, I actually selected another company on the first pass, and even signed an agreement, but once that agreement was signed and I had a question, the salesperson who I was working with, and who was so responsive earlier, suddenly dropped out of sight. Since I was within my 3 day right to rescind period, that was a sign to me that I made the wrong choice. It was then when I called Jim Sherlock, who was my contact for my second choice, and started working with him. I especially appreciated their dedicated service team, that Jim shared with me. Jim was not only responsive, but always very up front and honest. I appreciated his input when we were picking tiles and colors - which was helpful from someone who had not built one before. Even throughout the pool building process, he was there to answer questions and when an issue came up, regarding something we had discussed on the contract. He never dropped out of sight once we had signed off on the contact. He always found the answers or addressed the concern. I've really enjoyed working with him and will refer him personally in the future. When I noticed the start of the pool deck wasn't lined up with the pavers on our patio that we laid, I reached out to Pat Kearney who was the manager over the deck division, promptly assessed the situation and provided me 3 options to fix the problem. All three options were acceptable and it was down to which one I preferred. Some that would have been at a greater cost to Presidential and added more time to fix. Because of the miss, he also did a few little extras for me to help make up for this, his little extras and the options he came up with, is what really put this company in a different light. Mistakes can happen, but how a company responds to it, really defines the quality of the company and their willingness to ensure customer satisfaction. Pat was extremely responsive, and I honestly could not be happier and in fact love the end results even more than what was planned. I can't express enough, how much I appreciated the solution - Pat was wonderful to work with. All in all, they have a great staff, Gene the project manager, insured all the items needed to pass inspection were addressed and Nick was especially helpful as he walked through the general overview of the equipment and pool, along with the necessary chemicals. He was so thorough and patient, as I was also trying to address a conference call and had someone else at the house doing windows AND I was trying to record him so I'd remember all that he was telling me. Great guy, I loved his professional experience input, on some items, as I asked him many questions. What's even better is they completed my pool on time as planned! Having been with a company for 28 years, with a focus on customer service, I appreciate those who provide excellent customer service - and they definitely have a great team of people. I have people that report to me across the US, and I for one, know my success is dependent on how well they're performing and taking care of our customers, so I can really appreciate a fantastic team of people like the staff at Presidential Pools. People know that I don't take any decision lightly and would never recommend someone that I don't completely believe in, I truly believe they are the pool company of choice! "I put down a deposit for my project around June 2024, with the agreement that work would begin in January 2025. The deposit was supposed to secure my materials. In December 2024, I asked if they could start earlier and complete the project by Christmas. They agreed but couldn't begin until December 26th—not a big issue since the original start date was January. However, the real frustration began here. One of the pavers I selected was on backorder, and I had to order more than originally needed just to meet their supplier’s minimum requirement. This meant paying extra and waiting over four weeks to keep my design. [ My deposit DID NOT SECURE MY MATERIALS ] Despite my frustration, I agreed. Then, on February 19th, I received a message saying they would resume work in two days. I waited—no one showed up. I followed up on February 22nd and was told they would come on the 22nd or 23rd. Again, no show. I rearranged my schedule multiple times to accommodate these delays. Finally, on February 24th, they showed up and continued the work. Now, as of March 5, 2025, the installation is complete, but there are still unresolved issues—irrigation not working, scratches on the gate and wall, leftover project trash and other cosmetic problems. I have to reach out daily to ask if someone is coming to fix these, only to be met with delays and rescheduling. If you’re looking for a company that delivers decent work but terrible communication and scheduling, this is it. Their inability to set clear timelines or communicate properly has been beyond frustrating."

FAQs for chimney inspection projects in Strawberry, AZ
The average cost for a professional chimney cleaning is around $250, but prices range from $130 to $400 or more, depending on a few factors. Some things that have an impact on your total include the size of your chimney, the number of chimneys cleaned, and how accessible the chimneys are.
The cost to install a fireplace is $2,440 on average. This cost can range from $150 to $8,000 or more, depending on the type of fireplace, the materials used, and the size.
Electric fireplaces cost around $1,000 to install, and mostly only require wiring installation. Installing a wood fireplace from scratch could cost upwards of $10,000, depending on the foundation needed to support the weight of the fireplace. In addition, gas fireplaces can cost between $2,500 and $10,000.
The National Fire Prevention Agency (NFPA) recommends chimney sweeping once per year as a means of avoiding house fires and massive property damage. Over time, creosote and soot build up in your chimney from burning wood and a lack of ventilation. These compounds are both highly flammable, which means a build-up of them inside your chimney puts you at an increased risk of house fire. Chimney sweeping removes any residue and helps reduce the risk of property damage and personal injury from fire.
The cost to remodel your fireplace is $1,200 on average. This cost can range from $400 to $2,000, depending on the extent of work needed.
If you add a hearth to your fireplace, you can expect to pay between $3 and $200per square foot. However, if you're refacing your fireplace, the price tag will depend on your chosen materials. If choosing tile, you can pay between $1 and $50per square foot, depending on the design. Stone is a more expensive material, averaging between $60 and $70 per square foot.
On average, chimney repairs cost about $455. However, because of the vast range of potential repairs needed, the cost to repair a chimney ranges widely from $160 to $15,000, depending on the type and extent of repairs required.
