"                      We were very pleased with the sales consultant , he was always on time when he made his appointments, and even
came out when we had additional question instead of handling it over the phone very personable young man. We had told him we were getting bids from other companies and he was fine with that, but with all the bids we got Comstock came out on top because
the sales consultant listen to our needs and answered all our questions and got us a price we could afford.
The new unit was installed as promised by highly trained installers very polite and  made sure there finished work represented the company they work for.
I would highly recommend this company for your A/C or heating needs.

"One hour air conditioning and heat realy knows there stuff. I called them on a Sunday with an issue with my HVAC and they scheduled for a technician to come have a look the very next day. Ryan Sill called me before showing up and also sent me a text message. He was very prompt and within 15 minutes of troubleshooting he knew exactly what was wrong with my unit. He immediately called me with his diagnosis and will fix my issue the next following day. I am very impressed with his respect and courtesy to my needs. He was very professional and respected my property. I highly recommend this company."

"These gentlemen were punctual, courteous, and efficient. They got the job done in the amount of time they said they would, and even cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend DUCTZ for AC system cleaning. I will be hiring them again next year."

Air Conditioning FAQs, answered by experts

No. Evaporator coils are designed to work with specific refrigerant types, and they are rated by what kinds of refrigerant they use. It’s indicated with an “R” code. It’s important to match your evaporator coil and refrigerant or your system will not work properly. An AC technician can tell you what type of refrigerant your system needs and what evaporator coils will work with it.

Yes, you should turn off your AC if it’s leaking. Turning off the system prevents more condensation from leaking and reduces strain on the unit if a damaged internal component or lack of refrigerant is the cause. While this may temporarily stop the leak, water can continue to drip from a thawing coil even after the system is off. As soon as you notice a leak, turn off the unit and investigate the source or call a professional for an inspection.

While spending money once or twice a year to tuneup your AC and furnace might seem like a waste of money, think again. The cost of HVAC maintenance is far less than the cost of replacing your furnace or AC unit, regardless of the type of HVAC system you have. Paying this smaller fee now will help you avoid paying much more significant costs in the future. Not to mention, having a serviced AC and heating system will help keep your home comfortable, no matter the season.

Dirty filters are almost always the cause of poor airflow, so they should be regularly cleaned and then replaced as needed. The fan blades can also get dirty, so they should be cleaned when the unit is turned off. Make sure that the outdoor area around the back of the unit is unobstructed. Trees, shrubs, trash, and other objects could be too close to your unit.

A non-maintained AC is more likely to perform poorly, increase your energy bills, and undergo more severe issues like breakage and water damage. That’s why DIY cleaning or professional maintenance is recommended annually. Otherwise, you might end up paying more in the end than you would for annual service. You can purchase cheap AC cleaning kits if you prefer going the DIY route.
