Spider Monkey Tree and Landscape LLC is dedicated to providing our customers with the best quality and craftsmanship. We are here to build relationships with our customers and communities and to provide our employees with a great place to work. We look forward to working with you!

"I needed 2 juniper trees removed that had died. One was next to a drive way. I was very concerned about the remaining trunk be tall enough that it could possibly cause under carriage damage to a car that did not see it. He worked very hard to get the trunk cut low enough we didn’t have to grind the stump. He even took the big trunk so I could donate it to my church wood project where they provide wood fuel for low income families. "

We are here to help you with all your Handyman projects and Honey-Do Lists you may have.

"I was quoted a good price to install five new interior doors. I was told it would be completed in three days. Randy communicated well and was polite but after five days, Randy had only partially completed three doors. His work was subpar and we parted ways. Finish carpentry is not his strong suit."

"Fantastic! Right from the start Mr Perry laid out steps he would be taking, in getting a level, structured pasture. He would always call ahead to check if access to the property. My soil was like concrete. He would work the soil repeadily over a few months. When he decided the soil was ready, he waited for the best planting time(no frosts). He leveled the pasture with precion. Then planted the seed. I just irrigated the pasture today. The water flowed on a perfect flat flow! The work he accomplished was perfect. He is honest, straight forward, and highly knowledgeable."

Devoted Services LLC. Family owned and operated business. What I offer. Build and repair fences and I do custom modifications. Block, wood , metal and wrought iron. Also offering stucco repairs and more. License, bonded, insured. ROC#349333 ROC#349334 ROC#349906 ROC#350706

"Extensive repairs were needed to a six-foot high wooden fence following vandalism and trespassing. Rodney evaluated the damages and explained clearly what needed to be done. The sections of fencing that border my neighbor's yard were given priority because of children. Temporary repairs were quickly made to secure the rest of the property until the project could be completed. The finished fence looks great and is structurally more sound than the original work done by a large construction company."

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

The cost of tree removal is highly variable, depending on factors such as the size of the tree, location, accessibility, and other hazards. Costs can range from $500 to $6,000. A medium to large tree in an open area with good accessibility typically costs between $1,000 and $2,000.

The speed of your tree root removal process depends on a few different factors, including the size and type of tree. However, the fastest method of killing tree roots is applying chemical herbicide, which starts working quickly and efficiently. But this removal method has its drawbacks, such as having a negative effect on the surrounding vegetation and landscaping. Other options like rock salt and stump grinding work relatively quickly and cause less damage to your yard.

Dying trees and even dead trees can spread diseases to other living trees. There are many different types of tree diseases, so it’s essential to address the issue as soon as possible to prevent the disease from spreading to other healthy trees. If the tree cannot be saved and is infected, you need to have it removed to protect the other trees on your property.

According to scientists at Penn State University, spotted lanternflies do not typically kill the trees and plants they feed on, but they can cause branches and segments to die off. However, they have been found to kill cultivated grapes, which can have devastating consequences for vineyard owners and regions that heavily rely on vineyards to create jobs and generate revenue. They have also killed the Ailanthu altissima, known as the tree of heaven, though this is classified as a noxious and invasive weed tree.

Hiring an arborist costs around $900 on average, with prices ranging from $250 to $2,500 or more, depending on the type of work. Arborists complete a wide variety of jobs related to trees, so the average prices listed below should help you get a rough estimate of what your project will cost:

  • Small tree removal: $300 to $500

  • Large tree removal: $500 to $2,000 or more

  • Tree health assessment: $150

  • Trimming small tree: $75 to $200

  • Trimming large tree: $150 to $400

  • Dealing with invasive species: $150 to $1,000 or more
