Small jobs welcome

When life gets difficult, the last thing you should have to worry about is finding someone you can trust to take care of the work that needs to be done. \n\nMy business is built on three simple promises: quality workmanship, competitive pricing, and genuine care for my customers. I take pride in every job, whether it’s a small repair, a home improvement project, or the kind of unexpected problem that comes at the worst possible time. "Once I sent her all the measurements, it took her a little while to get the options back to me.  Overall, they're good designs.  However, they're very simplistic and give general ideas for space planning.  I was hoping to have a better idea for sizes of furniture for the space and some variations on staging.
Jill was very responsive when I did have a question.  I'm not sure how helpful it is to have a virtual design done.  If we lived in similar cities, I'd probably use her again for help with additional designs.

Residential Design questions, answered by experts

Depending on project size, materials, and complexity, design fees range from $2,000 to $15,000.

Palm Springs homes and similar mid-century modern architecture took off in Northern California, Seattle, and the Midwest. You'll also find many homes that emulate the style in northeastern states, such as throughout Pennsylvania and New York State. That being said, you'll have the best luck finding this style in its original home: Palm Springs and the surrounding area.

Hiring a professional to do a loft conversion will certainly speed up the process. The construction steps required to change the slope of the roof can be quite difficult to do as a DIY job. Should the project run into any snags, like rot in the joists, frayed wiring, or roof leaks, hiring a local home remodeling professional makes it far easier to handle these issues safely.

Costs depend on project size, customization, and the designer’s experience and hourly rate.

Mid-century modern design focused primarily on two things: simple, functional furniture, often with geometric shapes, and specific color palettes that included earth tones and what we’d today call retro colors. Furniture often blended different materials, like teak or oak wood, with vinyl, metal, and glass. Common mid-century modern paint colors included browns, reds, burnt oranges, yellows, aqua greens, and whites.
