We were thrilled with the job they did and the amount of time it took. They left the yard even better than it was before they came, cleaning up every bit of wood that fell from the trimming and a great deal of pecans as well. Once they found out that I would not be using their services (due to a wildly overpriced quote which would be performed by a third-party) they quickly added "Administration/estimator fee's" to an invoice amounting to $661.56 ($165.39 per hour x 4 hours). When I said I was not going to pay for someone to come out and provide an non-competitive quote for the project they quickly turned it over to collections and in negatively impacted my credit score. TLDR: Sunshine Restorations will over quote projects then aggressively pursue their "Administration/estimator fee's" by sending it to collections after performing no work."

Conducting quick dryer maintenance can extend its lifespan. Help your dryer stay in mint condition by cleaning the lint trap before and after every cycle. This keeps leftover lint from accumulating in your dryer vent, which is one of the leading causes of household fires, according to the U.S. Fire Administration.

You can also wipe down the lint screen with dish soap every few months to keep it extra clean. A basic wipedown of the drum every few months and a deep clean of the exhaust vent once a year are beneficial, too.

The average cost of a dryer vent ranges from $100 to $300 for the various models, but that price doesn’t include installation. If you're hiring a pro, the labor cost to install a dryer vent will be an additional $20 to $35 per hour. The job takes roughly two to four hours, so that’s an extra $40 to $140 altogether.

It’s possible to remove too much humidity from the air, but it’s very unlikely. Dehumidifiers have moisture sensors and settings to control how they function, so they can pause when the air inside your home reaches a certain humidity level. This means that most modern dehumidifiers won’t dry out the air to the point where it’s uncomfortable.
