"They went out of their way to help us out of a tight spot. We were let down on Monday by a glass contractor to remove shower glass & Tony Lombardo, because Tuesday morning demo contractors were coming, came on time & removed the glass early morning. They were tidy & very professional."

"I recently hired AP Handy Pros for a few repairs around my home, and I couldn’t be happier with the results! They were not only incredibly skilled and efficient but also kind and respectful throughout the process. They arrived on time, worked diligently, and made sure everything was done to perfection. It’s clear they take great pride in their work. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable and professional handyman services. Thank you for a job well done!"

Customers say: Super punctual

"We hired Scott for our shower and tub remodel. After listening to our needs he made great recommendations and explained the whole process. Scott has been amazing to work with, his fair pricing, communication and high quality workmanship have made this a very seamless, stress free experience. Very highly recommended. Will be calling on Scott for our next projects for sure."

"We needed our bathroom faucets changed out kinda quickly. The response time from contacting them to getting a quote to getting it done was awesome. Showed up on time (which is rare these days), were friendly and did good work. The work caused some debris which they vacuumed, mopped and left it spotless. Will def use them again for my next project (Flat Screen TV’s on wall)."

Pool Table Assembly questions, answered by experts

A solar cover can heat your pool anywhere from 5 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit over the course of 6 to 12 hours, depending on how much full sun your pool gets and how big it is. When used in conjunction with a solar pool heater, your pool will heat up even faster, all while using less energy than a traditional pool heater.

For maximum effectiveness, you should keep your solar pool cover on whenever your pool isn’t in use. Covering the pool during the day allows the solar cover to use the sun’s rays to heat your pool, prevent evaporation and heat loss, and protect your pool from debris.

The process involves designing the pool, obtaining necessary permits, excavating, installing plumbing and electrical components, configuring the pool's structure and lining, and finally completing landscaping and decking for integrated aesthetics.

No, shock and chlorine are not the same thing, though they are related and both are used for pool maintenance. Regular chlorine, often in the form of tablets, is a sanitizer used for routine, day-to-day maintenance to keep a steady chlorine level. Pool shock, however, is a highly concentrated dose of chlorine used periodically for a more intense cleaning. It rapidly raises chlorine levels to fix issues like cloudy water or algae growth and also eliminates chloramines, which are byproducts of regular chlorination. Because their purposes and concentrations differ, they are not interchangeable, and proper pool care typically requires using both.

Technically, you can fill in a pool yourself—with the caveat that filling in a pool requires the ability to drain the pool properly and move a substantial amount of dirt, which aren’t beginner DIY skills. If you want to fill in a pool, you’re better off hiring a local pool removal professional.
