"First, let me say - if you are looking for a company that takes customer service seriously, and has the highest ethical standards I have ever experianced - then this is the company I would recommend do your next move. This is how my move went. C2 sent a 3 man crew to handle the move. They did an exceptional job double wrapping with UHaul blankets the furniture and other items that were expensive. Many of the furniture items were very heavy. Many of the furniture items had custom cut glass covering their top surfaces. All of these were carefully removed and packaged. There was one glass top that was quite large & long in length that did break as the packers were lifting it off the dresser. The moving crew indicated C2 Moving would take care of the cost to replace it. We completed the 1,700 mile trip to Canada in the 2016 26' UHaul Ford truck (exceptional truck) and upon unpacking all the items - there was not a single item damaged or scratched from the trip - remarkable!. Regarding the broken custom cut dresser top glass. C2 had a new custom piece made and even went through the expense of shipping this all the way to Canada in a specially made plywood crate (the shipping costs to do this were extremely expensive & and the cost of re-doing the custom glass piece was not cheap) Unfortunately, when the glass arrived in Canada it had suffered breakage during shipping. I informed C2 moving of the breakage and instead of trying to ship a new piece of custom glass, the owner decided to issue a Cashiers Check for the amount I originally paid for the glass top, as showen on the invoice I provided to them. I would like to reassure anyone looking for moving, packing, loading & unloading services - or both. That I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending C2 Moving to you. The crew that did my packaging and loading were exceptional in every way. The owner Charles, who I would suggest you speak to, only if the office staff are not able to resolve your problem - possess the highest ethical standards I have ever experienced. I know he most likely lost any profit he would have made on my move - with the replacing and shipping of the glass replacement to me in Canada. Despite this, he was willing to suffer an even furthur loss by issuing a Cashiers Check for the full amount I had originally paid for the glass, as evidenced by the invoice I provided to him. All I can say is, what an exceptional company, and what an exceptional owner! My apologies for not getting this review sent off much sooner!"

Garbage Removal questions, answered by experts

If you cook a lot or have a larger household, a garbage disposal can be worth it, since it streamlines your kitchen duties and helps to keep food waste out of landfills. It helps to know the cost of garbage disposal installation before you make your decision. The average price is about $400, but you can expect to pay more for higher-end models or if you hire a pro to do the job for you.

Your garbage disposal will only affect the health of your septic tank if you’re using it too frequently, or filling it with organic waste that doesn’t fully break down. If the tank fills up with too many solids, the bacteria won’t have enough time to consume it before more is added, which can lead to an overflow in the drain field. Your tank will need to be pumped more frequently with excessive or improper garbage disposal use.

There are many maintenance and repair issues that lead to a malfunctioning garbage disposal. Regular clogs place wear and tear on the motors, leading to an eventual shutdown. Electrical issues at the breaker, wall outlet, or disposal itself can fry the unit. The most common cause is simply a worn-down motor. These motors can only handle so much use before powering down for good.

While the drain connection for a garbage disposal is nearly universal and fits standard sink drain holes of 3 1/2 to 4 inches, the size of the disposal unit itself is not. You must have enough space in the cabinet underneath your sink to accommodate the disposal's housing. A larger model may not fit in a compact cabinet or if the existing plumbing is arranged in an unusual way. Before buying a new garbage disposal, measure the available space under your sink. If you are replacing an old unit, it's often easiest to choose a new model of a similar size.

These appliances certainly increase the number of things allowed down the drain, but they’re not foolproof. There are several items you shouldn’t put in your garbage disposal, according to manufacturers and technicians. Don’t put coffee grounds down the drain. The same goes for eggshells, potato peels, hard foods, onion skins, and any dry, expandable food. Most importantly, never put grease or oils down the drain.
