"I've been using Carpet Police for years and I am always glad when I call them! When schedule the appointment, I talk to a friendly person who gives me options of days and times that are convenient for me. When the day arrives to clean, the guys call to confirm what time they are coming. They are happy to move furniture I need help with and they move it all back using styrofoam blocks so my floors look great and my house doesn't have furniture scattered everywhere. We have a dog and we doggy-sit frequently (= occasional potty accidents) and thanks to these guys I still happily sit on the carpet. My kitchen grout changed for the better after you guys were done last time. I'm pretty sure it was 2 shades lighter. I'll keep on calling you!"
"I Called On The Move and left a message to get an estimate to detail both the interior and exterior on my1998 Dodge Roadtrek, Popular 170. Jim called me about an hour later and explained he was doing a job in Phoenix, but he would be by in the morning to give me an estimate. Jim arrived as arranged and looked over the Van while I explained what I wanted done. We agreed on a price and the work was started right away while in my driveway. He washed the van down and then polished out the top, sides, hood and back end.. The bottom panel was faded and scratched on both sides. Jim, said he couldn't match the color and recommended another oner. He went ahead and painted the trim on both sides and I was just amazed. After he was finished, the van looked like it had just come off the showroom floor. Jim called the next day to set up a time for the both of us to go over the van to make sure everything had been completed and that I was satisfied with his work. Jim did a fantastic job and I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again. "
"He cleaned the inside and outside of the car. Did a good job - I was expecting maybe some things he couldn't do and I didn't ask ahead of time so that's my fault - like cleaning the headlights - buffing them out but he couldn't. Otherwise everything was clean and my car is 12 years old so he did the best he could. - I've given him an excellent rating and would recommend him. "
"Show Lows Best Cleaning has been coming to my home since last September. I have referred them to my friends. I am very pleased with their work, their friendliness, their attitude, their helpfulness and just plain happy to have them. They are the best I have ever had in the U.S. and would highly recommend them to anyone. Jo Ann Lumsden"

Buffing and Polishing questions, answered by experts
Yes, stains can often be removed using a poultice paste that draws out the stain. The paste is applied, allowed to dry, and then removed, lifting the stain from the stone.
Yes, it is possible to buff and polish your floors yourself, particularly for smaller areas. However, this is considered an intermediate-level DIY project that is time-consuming and requires patience and know-how. The process involves cleaning the floors before applying a polish, which can be done manually with a cloth or with a rented or purchased floor buffer and buffing solution. If not done correctly, you risk leaving burn-like marks, puddles, or an uneven finish, which could lead to costly repairs. For larger spaces or to ensure a professional result, hiring a professional is often worthwhile. They use industrial equipment to complete the job faster, providing a deep clean and a more even, polished finish without damaging your floors.
A mason lays brick or stone together, sometimes with mortar in between the bricks and stones, and sometimes without mortar, also called a dry-stack or surface bonding. Examples of work masons do include:
Brick, stone, or cement block houses and buildings
No, soapstone does not crack easily. The softness of the material protects it from cracking but makes it prone to other types of damage such as scratches. Scratches may need to be buffed out occasionally using fine-grit sandpaper. You can also conceal minor scratches in your soapstone countertops by rubbing the surface with mineral oil.
Costs depend on stone type, surface condition, labor, and whether sealing or deep cleaning is required.
