"Original appointment was scheduled weeks in advance and set for the crew to arrive between 07:00 & 07:30 on moving day. A couple of days before that I received a call asking if the start time could be pushed out to between 12:00 and 1:00 which I agreed to. The crew arrived at 5:00 PM. Sammy, Victor, and Jose were tired from their previous jobs but in good spirits and ready to get started. We finished at 10:00 PM. The crew was good, the equipment was good, the scheduling was unacceptable. Unfortunately there are few options available at the 11th hour. In hindsight, I should not have agreed to the reschedule. If you choose to use this company make sure the original schedule is adhered to, or have a back up plan in place."

"Matt hung one shade sail in front an one in back. He did a very good job and was congenial and patient when asked to come back to reduce a wrinkle in the front shade, which was cause by buying too large a size. Will hire again if they do roof whirlybird installation.?"

"The O'Bryan guys were great! On time, pleasant, kept the work area clean and organized and did the job professionally, particularly the ceiling fan outside. They installed an outlet and a ceiling fan on my patio for me. They were also able to do the job quickly, which was nice. Costs for parts and labor were very reasonable, would highly recommend (and have already done so)."

Tv Mount Install questions, answered by experts

It’s highly recommended to use studs for a TV mount. The last thing you want is to be watching your favorite show when the TV falls off the wall. Studs are much stronger than drywall and quite a bit stronger than drywall anchors but, if you can’t find the studs or there simply aren’t any where you need them, you can use drywall anchors. It’s extremely important to make sure the anchors are rated for the load of the TV. We recommend using anchors that are rated far beyond the weight of whatever you’re hanging. Our suggestion is metal drywall toggle anchors.

Yes, you can mount a TV on plaster walls—as long as you attach it to the studs. Alternatively, you can use toggle bolts, molly bolts, or another type of hardware that’s strong enough to support a TV.

If you aren’t comfortable with this type of project, you can hire a pro. The cost of mounting a TV to a plaster wall ranges from $25 to $600 (or more), depending on the TV’s weight, size, and other factors.

Mounting a TV can help prevent some damages from occurring, such as water damage. Installing a new flat-screen TV costs between $160 and $375 on average. A local TV mounting contractor can give you the most accurate price for your area and location of the home that you are looking to mount it.

Yes, you can mount a TV on a brick wall as a DIY project. This process requires specific tools, such as a masonry drill and masonry bits, as a regular power drill is not sufficient for drilling into dense surfaces like brick. You will need to drill mounting holes directly into the bricks, not the mortar, to ensure there is enough support for the weight of the TV and its bracket. After drilling, use large plastic wall anchors or concrete screws to securely attach the TV mount.

There are a few easy ways to locate a wall stud without a stud finder. First, try knocking on the wall with your knuckles. Most parts of the wall will sound hollow, but when you tap over a stud, it will sound more solid. Alternatively, since studs are spaced 16 or 24 inches apart, you can measure those distances from a corner of the room, which will always have a stud.
