- CHIMNEY DOCTORJeff was phenomenal. To put it in perspective, we were selling our house and the buyers had our chimney inspected by another company and sent us an invoice for repairs. Knowing nothing about chimney's, I wanted a second opinion considering some of the repairs seemed like overkill, and the quoted price was over $1,600! So after reviewing companies on Angie's List, I found The Chimney Doctor. Jeff, the owner, responded very quickly and came to do his own inspection. As it turned out, he had basically the same list of repairs. However, he indicated that he might be able to repair the existing damper, not add a new one. And in the end, he was able to repair it. Also, knowing we were selling the house, he wanted to be cautious of our budget but have it look nice. On his own volition, he added insulation on the interior and painted the inside box a dark black to make it pop. He also added some "ash" that looked good with the gas logs. He simply wanted it to look nice for the buyers. That says a lot about him and how he runs his company. And in the end, the total cost was $420. Amazing the difference between Jeff and his competition. I HIGHLY recommend using Jeff to help you with your chimney. Our new house actually has two chimneys, and he's the only one I'll call to help when help is needed

They covered the hearth and a good portion of my living room floor to prevent it from getting dirty. They cleaned the chimney and patched the fireplace panels. I have never had a fireplace before and they gave me a rundown on exactly how everything works on my fireplace. He even drew a picture with dimensions of how much wood I will burn before the chimney will need to be cleaned again. They said it might be a year, or maybe once every two or three years. Definitely seemed trustworthy. My fireplace looks brand new. They even cleaned my fireplace tools

"I finally elected to replace the hideous, ugly floor in the dining room. Benetz gave me what I thought a reasonable cost including material. We scheduled for end of September, and I rented a Cam's pod a couple of weeks in advance. Moved out all furniture and painted ceilings and wallls first,. Johnny and his crew came in and removed old floor, repaired the sheath in a place, moved a vent, and worked with me to leave a space for a tile entry space. The work was a little slow to start, as the OCD and there were nails every 2sqin. New floor installed, they sanded the adjacent living room and hallway and stained the lot. The first coat of poly took an extra day to dry, but eventually the project was completed. They worked hard to complete the job as quickly as possible and did an outstanding job, and I have gorgeous hardwood floors.
