"The best roofers in the NWA area. They have excellent customer service and were very helpful in making my decision. I would recommend them to everyone without hesitation. My experience with them has been a pleasure from start to finish. After having several estimates, I decided to use the services of this roofing company because they were the most competitively priced but also had a great reputation for their customer service. The crew was quick, professional, and did an amazing job of installing a new roof on my house in just one day! Their high standards gave me peace of mind in knowing that they would protect my home."

"I was very impressed with the speed in which they got my roof replacement job done so I could list my home for sale. They were experienced and knowledgeable about how to work with my insurance company, and the new roof is beautiful. They were very easy and cooperative to work with. I can highly recommend this company based on the new roof, downspouts and gutter guard screens they installed for me."

Roofing questions, answered by experts

An insulated garage benefits from roof vents to ensure proper ventilation and prevent moisture buildup. Insulation can trap moisture in the garage, especially during temperature fluctuations, and roof vents play a crucial role in expelling the moisture in the air. Including roof vents promotes air circulation, preventing condensation and enhancing overall air quality.

Clay tile roofing is more susceptible to damage from impact than something like a metal roof or even asphalt shingles, so they aren’t ideal in areas that see frequent windblown debris or hail. Clay tile roofs are also an average of $8,000 more expensive than asphalt shingle roofs, so up-front cost is an important consideration to make before committing.

Yes, you can walk on torch down roofing. It is durable and tear-resistant enough to handle that kind of low-level wear. Remember that torch down roofing can get uncomfortably hot in certain climates. Dark roofing absorbs heat and can burn bare feet. If you want to use a roof deck for lounging, you may want to install a lighter-colored PVC membrane.

Whether or not the terms of your roofing estimate are negotiable depends on the contractor. Some professional roofers will be willing to budge on labor fees to some extent, while others will simply walk away from the potential work rather than lower their fees. In most cases, it’s best not to negotiate the terms, as lower labor charges could lead to your contractor cutting corners. Material costs aren’t negotiable, but you could purchase them yourself to try to save on delivery fees and markups.

The lifespan of a torch down roof depends on the number of layers installed. A single-ply system typically lasts between 10 and 15 years, while a multi-layer system with two or three layers can last from 15 to 25 years. Although a multi-layer option may be more expensive upfront, it provides a longer service life. Warranties often reflect this, with about 12 years for a one-ply system and 15 years for a two-ply system. For context, this lifespan is shorter than other common roofing materials like wood or asphalt shingles, which typically last 20 to 30 years, with high-quality versions lasting up to 50 years.
