"Arrived a day late, indicating that they "had been out late the night before". Removed the sub-floor on day 1/2 and found that the sub floor was 5/4 instead of the 3/4 that they had planned. Except they didn't bother telling ME that until the last day and advised that they could fix the 1/2 step running down the middle of my living room and kitchen for twice the price. I spent $400 and 5 days on my hands and knees fixing this problem. Damage done to walls that was not repaired, 2 doors need to be re-hung, siding removed from the back of the house (other option was the demolition of most of my kitchn cabinets) that is still not hung back up. Most days for the crew started at around 9:30-10:00 and ended about 3:30 in the afternoon. Did I mention that my wife and I were in a local hotel for then entirety of the repair process. To say that I am very unhappy with my experience with Foundation recovery systems would be an understatement. I will not refer them and never use them again."

"Excellent people and the work was done on time and on budget. They exceeded my expectations and Randy is great at letting you know the schedule and when everything will be done. I had a leak which included foundation repair, sheetrock repair, replacing the hardwood floor, trimming down some doors, laying new vapor barrier under my house and regrouting a shower. The hardwood matches exactly and I could not be more pleased with the Johnson Brothers. They came highly recommended to me by a large foundation company in the area that could not work on my old house since my crawl space was not tall enough. They told me that there are alot of people that say they do foundation work, and some may be cheaper, but if you want someone that knows what they are doing call the Johnson Brothers. We are a small company that believes debt is a bad thing, not only for us but also for our clients. We therefore maintain very little overhead and pass this cost reduction on to the client. We do most of the work ourselves to protect our quality standards of the finished product. Payment terms will be completely laid out in a contractual agreement ahead of time to avoid surprises. Payment is primarily determined by the length of the work. Less than 1 week - due on completion. More than 1 week - labor costs to date due each week, material costs to date due on completion or every 30 days. The company virtually makes nothing until the job is completed as agreed and final payment is received.
