"My rug looks like it’s brand new! Awesome company--they contacted me within minutes after sending in the request. They came out within a couple of hours after we spoke and picked up my rug. I was only home for a few days before having to return to Houston, and they got the rug dry, did mold-remediation and cleaned it (BEAUTIFULLY) in 2 days. HIGHLY recommend them!"

"Miller and his colleagues were able to do a lot of things quickly. Along with everything else, they also grabbed some old furniture that I needed help moving to the curb. They took several cares to make sure nothing was damaged during the move, including wrapping the furniture, turning off all the lights, and packaging the picture frames."

"The job for the most part went extremely well. The employees were always very professional as well as the project Manager and owners. We had them do two differe t projects for us, the first was all of the concrete torn out and replaced with additional concrete poured in front & back yards. Then we hired them to come back and build a nice cover for our back porch creating an outdoor living space with electricity, lighting etc. These guys were top notch all the way around. I Highly Recommend!"

Biohazard Remediation questions, answered by experts

To prevent mold from growing in your washer, use detergent recommended for your specific washer. Afterward, leave the door open after every wash and remove wet clothes as soon as possible. You can also use a mildew cleaner to wipe the gasket and consider using a dehumidifier where you keep your washer. If you think the problem is too big for you to handle on your own, contact a local house cleaner service

Rockwool insulation is permeable to moisture, meaning that humidity can get inside the insulation. However, since this insulation is moisture resistant, once dry, your rockwool insulation should return to normal without losing performance or becoming damaged. Keep in mind, that surrounding parts of your home can still become damaged from water damage, so it's important to take action if you have a leak in your home even if rockwool is moisture resistant.

Yes, mold can grow in a wet dryer vent. Mold is a type of fungi, and fungi thrive in warm, moist conditions. Dryer vents need to be aired out so heat can escape and moisture can dry. If your dryer vents aren’t properly vented, the trapped heat and moisture will cause mold to grow, and the mold can spread to the dryer and even your clothes. Not only can this leave a musty smell on your freshly laundered clothes, but—more importantly—it also poses a health risk.

In some cases, yes, insulating an unheated garage can lead to mold and mildew. The issue with insulating a garage is that the interior will warm up and cool down more slowly than the exterior air, which can cause condensation inside the space. Where there is moisture, there is likely to be mold and mildew over time. Installing a vapor barrier can help avoid moisture and mildew problems in an insulated garage.

No, if you have paper towels or rags that are soaked in mineral spirits, you can’t throw them out like you normally would with household trash. When contaminated in this way, such objects are deemed hazardous waste and can only legally be disposed of with a hazardous waste collection program.
