"Completely replace faulty smoker detectors. 700$. Microwave 400$. Tear off and replace entire deck rated â moderateâ that was untreated 1x6 deck planks 4500$ Tear off and replace all dock boards rated â moderate â 1500$ . Replace non working flood light 600$. And unfortunately very pricey things like the foundation. Cracks very noticeable in the brick exterior not noted in inspection. I would NEVER use again. Main back door to deck and door casement rotted 2000-3000$. Approximately 10,000.00 dollars in undocumented problems. Absolutely cannot recommend will never use again. I couldâ ve inspected this house myself and found more things than he did."

Hello, my name is Russell Baggett with RDB Inspections. Inspections to me means attention to detail and making sure the client understands the home and its operating functions. What is most important to me is the client. The client always has worries and concerns and it's my job to help the client understand those concerns and put their minds at ease. Secondly the most important thing is the home. My job as a home inspector is to be able to read the home for the client and talk for the home. That home wants to talk to someone, and it's my job to listen and relay that information to the client. Homes have always been a passion for me, and being a home inspector I get to take that one step further and give that to the client. Families depend on me to make sure that their new home is safe and functioning properly. But with me I don't just look at it as someone buying a new home for their family, I look at it as I was buy this home for my family. Because at the end of the day I'm going to take care of the client like family.

"Amazing! Russell is always so professional and flexible to accommodate your schedule. He truly cares about his clients and their concerns. I will recommend him for anyone that is needing a home inspection or service that he can provide! He is the absolute best!"

Bloodhound Home Inspections is professional Home Inspection Company - licensed and insured. We are new to Angie's List but not new to the inspection business (check out our reviews on Google). We put you in a better position to make an informed decision about the home that you are considering for purchase. Your inspection can usually be scheduled within a few days of your call. The report that you receive is second to none. It is delivered electronically and is complete with a report summary and much more detail within report along with pictures of the things that are important for you to know, In addition to deficiencies, we make suggestions on improvements that can make parts of your new home safer as well as last longer. I enjoy what I do and never hurry through a home. We will spend whatever amount of time needed to make sure that you are informed. Give us a call today, you will be glad you did. I was in the Army National Guard as an MP and proudly offer 10% discounts to all veterans.

"Bloodhound Home Inspections were flexible, punctual, professional, and able to provide detailed information regarding findings. He appeared to be well versed in standards and regulations, and shared information during the inspection. He was able to spot a potential issue with the roof resulting in the roof replaced prior to closing, saving me thousands of dollars and potential issues with an aging roof in years to come. I appreciated his ability to allow me to observe the inspection process and have on the spot explanation of issue and what to look for. I felt completely comfortable regarding the process compared to the company used in Springfield Missouri. I appreciate Bloodhound Home Inspections and owe them a Thank You for their services."

Home Inspection questions, answered by experts

Yes, hiring a real estate agent is worth it. Many homeowners make the mistake of trying to sell their homes by themselves, thinking that they’ll save money on the commission, but what they save on the commission, they very often pay for in frustration and concessions on the sale price. Hiring a real estate agent to handle the sale of your home not only makes the process far easier and takes the burden off of you, but most homeowners get more for their homes when going through an agent because of the marketing and salesmanship they bring to the table.

Many experts agree on a twice-yearly schedule for DIY foundation checks and professional inspections every one to three years, depending on the condition of your foundation. Visually checking your foundation twice a year will ensure that it is not damaged during severe summer or winter weather events. Extreme temperature changes impact the soil surrounding the foundation, as do lengthy rain storms. Both issues expose the foundation to excessive moisture, which is not good for its overall health and stability. Call a pro if you notice any damage or changes during your DIY check.

It’s a good idea to conduct a DIY attic inspection at least once a year to look for signs of water damage, pest infestation, and damage to the underside of the roof decking. If you suspect any problems, call in a professional to confirm and come up with a solution. You should also hire a pro to inspect an attic before purchasing a home, and you can have an inspection done as a seller to entice buyers to move forward with an offer or purchase.

It’s worth getting a wind mitigation inspection if you’re trying to save on your homeowners insurance. Plus, passing an inspection proves that your home is in good condition if a tropical storm, hurricane, or windstorm comes your way. Even if you don’t pass, getting a wind mitigation inspection is still helpful because it will let you know which areas to improve to make your home safer.

Yes, most services include safety checks to ensure the system operates safely. Confirm with your provider.
