"Steve Anderson & his associate, Bradley did an excellent job at replacing my liner in my 18’ X 20’ in ground pool. Steve is a professional swimming pool expert in his business of Anderson Pool in Cabot Arkansas that has excellent reviews. He ordered the high quality custom fit pool liner that was manufactured specifically for my pool. When he received the new liner he contacted me to drain the pool and start the procedure of removing and disposing of the old liner. Next he inspected and repaired any and all sub liner repairs as required. The next step was to properly hang the new vinyl liner and start filling the pool. That was the slowest part of the job waiting on a garden hose to fill the pool with 32,000 gallons of water. The stormy weather we experienced during this process didn’t help either. Enclosed is a picture of the completed project that speaks for itself on the quality of work performed by Steve and Bradley of Anderson Pool. Rated 5 out of 5. "

Properly maintaining your hot tub will prevent serious issues from occurring down the road. You should replace the filter once a year, regularly look for and repair small cracks in the shell, and test the water quality every few months. You can do this yourself for less than $100 per year.

In most cases, it is safe to clean a hot tub with vinegar. You will want to verify that your hot tub manufacturer lists vinegar as a safe cleaning product; however, given that vinegar is chemical-free, cleans, deodorizes, and is safe for people and pets, it is usually a good option. You can use vinegar to clean the hot tub shell, interior and exterior spa surfaces, hot tub jets, hot tub filter, and other parts. The best thing with which to clean a hot tub is whatever the manufacturer recommends; in most cases, this is a gentle surface cleaner and a soft cloth. Recommended hot tub cleaners can include specially formulated cleaning agents, mild dish soap, baking soda, vinegar, or diluted bleach. For your hot tub exterior, choose wood or vinyl cleaner (depending on the casing material).

You should never use household cleaning products, harsh chemicals such as undiluted bleach or acids, or abrasive cleansers or cloths, as these can scratch or etch your hot tub’s coating or shell and cause permanent damage.

Most newer hot tubs are not expensive to maintain. Hot tub maintenance costs about $500 to $1,000 per year. You can DIY, but a pro can clean and treat your hot tub with chemicals and save you time. The biggest hot tub expenses are heating and repairs, but you can preserve your investment with regular maintenance.

It’s less expensive to leave your hot tub on all the time, though you’ll want to keep it at a reduced temperature. How much you use the hot tub is also a factor. You’ll want to keep it at a constant temperature between 80 and 95 degrees Fahrenheit for weekly or daily use, then bump it up right before you get in. If you don’t plan to use your hot tub that often, you can turn it off as long as there’s no risk of freezing.
