"Found out I needed to replace 5 ton heat pump on the 16th. I priced 13 other company's within 50 miles of my business. The price for the pump and installation was $1,OOO.OO CHEAPER PLUS the service was 1 day. They had it in stock, didn't have to order it, and I got a 5yr warranty plus 1yr labor. In the northern United States, new ACs must have a minimum SEER rating of 14, though you can still buy and install older systems as long as they were compliant when they were manufactured. In the southern and southwestern United States, you cannot buy or install older air conditioners with lower SEER ratings.
