"David was responsive and answered my questions in detail. Great experience working with them. Just wanted a third party opinion on a property before selling, which is exactly what I received. Miranda (person who came to property) was communicative and nice to work with."

"Monika was always available to answer questions, to help with issues (meeting with contractors, alarms going off, burying St. Joe, etc.).  She took on a lot because we had already moved out of town.  But she was always there when we needed her.  She went the extra mile to make the sale as smooth as possible.  And she was willing to take on added responsibilities with out of town clients.  Our house sat on the market from the end of October to the middle of July with two other agents and no offers.  Monika took the listing and we had an offer in less than two weeks.  She answered questions about how we had the home staged and gave us good advice. And most importantly, she listened to us and our concerns and gave us some different options.
Monika is great to work with.  I don't hesitate in recommending Monika to other home buyers or sellers.

"I had great service! The agent who did the faucets was very polite, and professional. He did a great job, our faucets are nice and sturdy. On the washing machine issue, the agents that arrived were also polite and professional. The agent said that the machine needed to be replaced. Fortunately, the coverage I had allowed me to be approved to purchase a new one! I guess I made the right (CHOICE HWS)"

Real Estate Agents questions, answered by experts

Ensures accurate valuation reflecting current market conditions, assisting in financial decisions.

Yes, high ceilings can increase your home's value when it's time to sell. According to some studies, homes with ceilings 9 feet or higher can sell for up to 6% more than homes with lower ceilings. Buyers often have a greater perceived value of homes with high ceilings because they appreciate the extra space and modern feel. While other factors like your home's location and overall condition are more impactful, raising your ceilings can be a worthwhile investment if you plan to sell in the future.

No, the appraisal value comes from an appraiser and is a professional opinion of value based on property location and condition, while the market value is determined solely by what buyers are willing to pay for your home. Lenders normally use appraised values to ensure they’re staying within target loan-to-value (LTV) ratios—the market value is simply what the home sells for. Appraised value can sit above or below market value.

Depending on the size of the home, the appraisal itself can take several hours. After the appraiser’s visit is complete, it can take between a few days and a few weeks to get the report back. This timeline is largely dependent on the appraiser’s workload, research requirements, efficiency, and other factors.

No, home improvement loan rates typically do not drop during certain times of the year. Interest rates go up and down based on economic conditions rather than on the time of the year. Some banks may offer slight rate discounts around the same holidays every year, but this is a marketing decision rather than a decision based on the time of the year. If you want to use a home improvement loan to fund your remodeling project, the best option is to shop around at different banks for the best rates.
