"We were very pleased with the work that Anthoney’s Lawn Care performed! They responded quickly once we reached out for a quote, were in communication the whole time, arrived promptly on the day of our work to be done and did a great job! We hired them to do our lawn maintenance weekly and bushes/trees as needed! We appreciate them so much and look forward to working with them in the future!"

"I would have given most all A's except the first man that came out spoke little English. It was later told to us that this was above just adjusting sprinklers and offered us a good price to do all the work they did.  They only asked for $65 more dollars to figure it out.
We were told that is was all bad and purchased, due to time limitations to get it online, them to install new timer box and additional item to monitor other things.  Was happy with the final crew that came in and took care of it all.
It was clear on the sprinkler adjustments and repair would have been fine with okay, the job was more entailed. When it was all said and done, the original $49 or so Angie's to adjust the sprinklers they would not do according to the last man, so I spent plenty of money with them by this point, Bucks more for this equipment and sprinklers were only adjusted by a good employee. This man is the one that satisfied us and for his professionalism, he made us happy and if not for him, we would never use this company again, only because they made us wait in between for 10 days from original appt to repair.  So $49 Angie's Deal. Extra time to find the problem $65 and we agreed this was fair. Then it was told to us that are stuff was bad, paid like $175 + for this unit and if not for an employee that they should give a raise, saved the company.

Customers say: True professional

"Landscaping Guys did a great job re-sodding my lawn! They helped prepare the dirt (removed old grass/weeds), ordered and had delivered the new sod, and then installed the sod. They reset all the irrigation heads and replaced any that malfunctioned. They also installed a couple of drainage areas to remove standing water. They did a great job, were on time, and the results are fantastic. Throughout it all, Jesus kept me informed of the plan and walked me through the process for each step. The price was fair and they completed the job ahead of schedule. It was always a great, hard working crew on site."

"I have really struggled with finding a competent and trustworthy sprinkler system contractor (been through quite a few), but I now have one in Torres Lawn and Landscape. They also did a great job for some landscaping work. I will be using them for future work in both areas."

Lawn Care questions, answered by experts

The best time to water your lawn is in the early morning. This timing allows the grass to dry during the day, which reduces the risk of mildew and fungus, and ensures the lawn has moisture to withstand the day's heat. Watering during the peak afternoon sun is inefficient, as the water evaporates too quickly.

Watering in the evening or at night is not recommended. Prolonged moisture on the grass overnight can promote fungal diseases. Additionally, nighttime conditions can be colder and windier, which may cause water to be blown away or prevent it from being properly absorbed by the soil.

To prepare your lawn for core aeration, water it the day before you aerate. (Alternatively, you can wait until it rains and aerate the following day.) Aerating after watering or a rainy day will make the process easier since you can penetrate moist soil better than dry soil. You should also flag your sprinklers so that you don’t accidentally hit them while aerating. If you have a lot of thatch buildup in your yard, you might need to dethatch your lawn before aerating as well.

Hiring a professional lawn care service is generally worth the cost, especially if you have limited free time. Lawn care professionals can ensure your lawn receives the vital nutrients it needs to grow and thrive, guaranteeing a healthy, beautiful, and well-maintained yard with professional-looking results. While some homeowners enjoy doing the work themselves, hiring a company frees up your schedule. The decision also depends on your budget and whether you already own the necessary lawn equipment, as doing the maintenance yourself can reduce monthly costs. Additionally, many lawn care companies offer other services like snow and leaf removal to keep your property in top shape year-round.

Each season’s climate influences approaches needed for effective suppression.

How often you should maintain your yard depends on your climate and what season it is. A general rule of thumb is to maintain a lawn height of three inches.
