"Called to have my septic pumped. First impression was good but I feel I was mislead on the cost. Quoted $450 for septic to be pumped. Told I would be informed of any additional cost before work was done. When he uncovered the septic, I was told the lid was broken and the septic would need to be replaced. We agreed to $6000 with risers and what I thought was septic pumped?the original job he was called to do. I was informed I had to pay 1/2 today and other half when job completed. Then I was asked if i was going to pay the company that was pumping the tank. What? I called him to pump it. Makes me question if he broke my lid so he could put a new septic in. Again I thought why would he ask that when that was what I called him to do. That afternoon I was called and told it would be another $500 for risers. When job was done he tells me my remaining balance is $3950?.not what we initially discussed for the $6000 after paying 1/2 at $3000. Why was I asked to pay another company $450? "

A $400 septic job changed to a $675 job because they would have had to dig a hole to clean the tank. So I told them that?s ok because I see where this was going. I just located another company and they found the tank and cleaning it for the price stated without telling me a an extra fee for locating a job that they are about to get paid for. Thanks Angi list but no thanks! I?ll never use this again.."

"I put out a request on Angie list and the Company Soggy Bottom contacted me and I accepted their offer to clean out my septic tank. They arrived on the scheduled date; the tank was cleaned; the company was paid in cash. Now I have this issue of the raw sewage collecting on top of the tank again this have never been a issue pre-service with Soggy Bottom my deceased father had the tank cleaned when I moved in the house 26 plus year ago, and I've never had an issue until now. Maybe I chose the wrong Company to do business with."
