On the appointed date of installation, the two man crew (Jamie and Jeremy) arrived on time, removed and replace the unit in a timely manner. They were courteous, respectful and performed their work in a professional manner. They were careful to take care my home, explained the new system to me and answered all questions that I had. Within a few hours, the unit was working, they cleaned the premises and left. Today, August 27, 2014, Justin Armstead, called and came by to inspect Air Now's work and brought my final paperwork. He was professional and I consider him to be an asset to Air Now's staff. Air Now, did a great job. Thanks to all concerned. Checked out the work that was being done there and contacted builder for an estimate. Explained that I needed two estimates, one to replace the damaged old roof and one that would remove old structure and replace with a pitched roof with brick columns. Builder worked with me to get the price down to where I could afford the pitched roof. He started promply,(6-7AM) he and crew worked most of the days (temp got over 100 in the afternoon and was there everyday up to about a week before the city inspector's visit. After that, it was a little slower going. Once plywood roof was installed, I brought up my concern with the valley being created with new roof and old roof as it would bring water toward chimney. He indicated that flashing would be enough. He brought in roofers that worked quickly, brought in brick masons that completed their part in one day. Company that installed the eves was in and out in two or three days. From there to finish, it was real slow. Some days he would only be there for an hour or so, As job winding down, there was a rain storm that showed that there was a roof leak in the chimney area. Builder came back with an additional change order to construct a custom chimney saddle that would raise the elevation to divert water better. There was an additional charge to this order that I agreed to. It took a few weeks and a few phone calls for him to return to build the saddle, during that time his cell number had changed and I only got it was when he called my cell. It was another week or so for him to return and finish with the shingles. The work order had other aspects for him to complete around the house, so he has only collected half of the change order ( I suspect that he feels that it will cost him more to correct the problem than to do the work correctly. I also needed to call him to clean up and remove the leftovers ( since then I have found old roof pieced thrown in the woods next to the house and some of the dirt removal that was in the change order was shouveled under bushes near the site that was to be cleared). Before he removed the leftover material, it rained again and it was still leaking. I called him and his cell phone indicated that he had not set up his voice mail. I used a friends cell and he picked up right after he did not answer my cell and I was able to inform him that the roof was still leaking and he indicated that he would take care of it. It is now over 120 days and he still has not set up his cell (334-401-1445) for receiving calls or he is letting mine go to voice mail, I have left a message on his business phone (334) 209-9213 but no response. I have given up on him. We have been lucky in that it has been very dry with little rain, this past summer and fall, but the last storm last week, caused water again to leak in that area. I am talking to different roofers now to have it done correctly. While the poach was done and looks great, it was the finishing and completing the job that has left a bad taste in my mouth. I would tell people that he does a great job in the beginning, but you need to keep a back-up payment until you have checked out everything and given it time to make sure things are correct. Very well. they arrived on time, worked hard and fast. the whole process took several days, starting on june 7 when they removed some undergrowth, a few small scrubby trees blocking my lake view, and the old grass, which was very sparse and patchy and badly eroded in my sloping front yard....
Ron's repair took less than 45 minute and follow up to ensure no leakage at the new joints and the water heater was working correctly. He suggested that I should remove several items from some shelves that are next to the heater for safety reasons. I am working on clearing those items now. ...

"John and Andy came out to pressure wash the house. Both were professional and friendly to a fault. There was definite care showed towards my house and in every detail of the job, even on a day working outside in direct sunlight with the temperature at 95°+. The end result was a perfectly sparkling house, the detailing of which exceeded even my exacting standards. Will be hiring again and requesting these two gentlemen as technicians--their work and professionalism were exemplary and well-deserving of praise."

FAQs for snow removal projects in Mount Meigs, AL
Before hiring a snow removal company, it’s essential first to ask questions to understand the details thoroughly. Since every company has different policies and snow removal methods, it’s best to clarify upfront before you’re left in a heap of snow. Some starting questions to consider include:
What are the procedures for a snowstorm? Do I need to call you each time, or do you automatically come out?
Do you wait until after the snow has stopped falling or make multiple passes throughout the storm?
What is your method of removal?
Do you use salt after the snow is removed? Is it pet-safe?
How does your billing work? Do you bill extra for blizzard conditions?
Can I sign an annual contract, or do you bill for each storm?
The cost of an annual snow removal contract is $200 to $600. This cost is significantly impacted by the area you live in. Places that don’t receive considerable snowfall might charge less for an annual contract, and those areas that get heaps of snow throughout the fall and winter can expect to pay on the higher side. In addition, property size, expected response time, and extra services like clearing a sidewalk can also impact your cost.
Yes, most states require that snow removal companies be insured under workers' compensation. This protects the employees financially if an injury were to happen (and when dealing with ice and snow, it’s possible that injury could occur). In addition, most states require snow removal companies to be covered under general liability, which would help cover the cost of any property damage incurred during the removal process.
Depending on where you live and your average snowfall, removing snow from your property yourself with either a shovel or a snowblower is reasonable. A snow shovel costs around $60, and a snowblower can range from $100 to $2,300. However, taking a DIY approach to this isn’t always the best option. In these cases, it’s best to hire a professional snow removal company:
If you have a large property or an extended area that needs clearing
If you have certain health conditions, such as mobility issues
If you want to save time or need the snow removed ASAP
If you live in an area with frequent heavy snowfall and want to offset your time spent
If you lack the space to store snow removal equipment
It’s no surprise that removing snow from your driveway makes coming and going significantly easier and lowers the risk of falling. However, it’s important to note that if you don’t remove snow from your driveway, you run the risk of damaging your paving. As the snow melts, water can seep into your driveway. This can lead to the formation of cracks. When the water freezes, this expands the minor cracks, leading to more significant damage.
