It was as old as the home which was originally built in 1976. March 2024 the roof started leaking in several spots and insurance said they wouldnâ t cover its replacement. I found Spakes through Nextdoor and they were reasonably priced plus financed replacement of our roof and decking. The guys came in and were done in one day. They were thorough and took great care in clearing the old roof and cleaning up any debris or trash. We have used his network for repairs to our HVAC and plan to use them for any future home improvements. We highly recommend them. Chase and his team are prompt and give a fair price. "My front door and the framework around it was replaced approximately July of this year. The inside of the door did not meet with the existing tile work. The blinds that were around the new door that were professionally installed back in 2008 were not refund properly. The lockset for the new door was not like my original lockset(had to use key to open top part of lock) the door swing was not like how my original door swing was(from left to right). The crew left lots of debris outside the door's porch area. I shared my concerns with the manager (and pictures as proof) virtually a day or so after the work. Payment was made and crew members returned to make corrections to the stated problem and to clear debris from front and back gutters (Oct.4) I was charged for "modifications" made on the door the new lockset and was billed for properly fixing the blinds-but they were never touched. Additionally, I was texted a "reminder" invoice while the crew members were still at my house."

This shower remodel was started in late March and we still can not use our shower due water leaking under the shower door seal on to our floors. While laminate countertops can’t be restored like other materials like butcher block, granite, or Corian can, they can be restored to a smooth, sealed surface using refinishing kits or by covering them with a vinyl peel-and-stick sheet. You can also consider painting your laminate countertops for a fresh look. 

You should always seal cut countertops to prevent damage and to keep them looking their best. The right way to seal countertops depends on the type of material. Original Gorilla Glue is not a good choice for laminate countertops. It is not a contact cement, which is the best choice for this material, and it does not explicitly state that it should be used on laminate. Perhaps the best reason to avoid using Gorilla Glue on laminate is that it expands three times its original size, which could lead to your laminate being pushed away from the countertops.
