"We use Perdido Heating & Air.  I have a maintenance contract with them and they did the Fall one.  It was the last check for the year of 2016.  They do a good job.  They were here the 18th of October 2016.  It costs around $98 to $100.  I would absolutely use them again.  They've always done a good job.  I've had them for several years and they always come when they're supposed to.  They never leave any mess."

"Great company! Fantastic crew! Good morals! Impressive work ethic! Very clean, efficient, and timely! Had some cracking in my bicks and I was concerned none the less. I called 4 different foundation repair companies and I was immediately sold on Apex! There not the cheapest but to my personal experience they are absolutely the best. They told everything I needed to expect on the front end. And much to my surprise they fixed my foundation and bricks in less than a day. Then after all is said and done they have lifetime warranty?s on everything they do! If your having issues with your foundation, look no farther than Apex Foundation Specialist!!!"

"Mr. Waters gave me an estimate that was fair and detailed. He went the extra mile to work me in to a tight time frame and the job execution was quick and very efficient. He was kind, courteous and helpful. The set up of the new water heater which was moved from our attic to downstairs storage was seamless. I would recommend him highly. I was very satisfied. He will be my go to Plummer!"

"

They were on time and did everything that they said they would do and probably more as they were out in the yard for two to three hours.  All sprinklers seem to be working much better than before and where there was not a lot of water pressure, they were able to spice and dice and get the pressure back to acceptable levels.  Their part prices, I thought were a little high ($18.00 per rotor) but I also have not gone out to price, so, the price may be fair.  I am not sure that they included the $49.00 Angie List cost in the price quote ($200.00) which ended up being $199.00 total and once the Angie List price is included it equal'd $248.00.  I believe they were very honest and did all the work that they said they would do.  My fault that I did not ask about the Angie's List price.

At all times, they were very professional and respectful.  Yes, I plan to use them again next spring.

"The brothers were very knowledgeable and quickly assessed what the problems were and took less than half an hour to fix and they explained what the problems were and how they were fixing them and other things to lookout for. The twins were also entertaining to help with keeping things at ease."

Sump Pump Installation questions, answered by experts

One common reason a sump pump stops working is improper sizing. Different locations need different sizes and power ratings of sump pumps depending on the typical amount of water the pump needs to manage. If your sump pump is too small for the quantity of water, it can overwork and either burn out or reduce the life of the unit. If the pump is too big, it can overwork and burn out early.

Yes, it’s possible to install a sewage ejector pump outside rather than in a basement. However, there may be some extra steps involved, including running pipes from the inside to the outside of your home and digging (and re-filling) a hole for the basin. If you aren’t comfortable with this type of work, contact a plumbing pro to handle it for you.

There are a couple of similar alternatives you may consider for a sewage ejector pump, including a grinder pump or a submersible sump pump. Submersible sump pumps protect your home from flooding from outside water, though, rather than handling wastewater from inside. A grinder pump macerates, or shreds, solid waste before pumping it onward to the sewer line.

Sewer ejector pumps need to be cleaned at least once a year by a professional. You shouldn’t attempt to clean it yourself because it can release sewer gasses that are toxic to humans and can be fatal. But to keep the system as clean as possible between professional inspection and cleaning services, be sure to only flush human waste and toilet paper. Avoid flushing items that can clog the system, like paper towels, grease, oil, or menstruation products.

If you’re wondering if your home even needs a sump pump, consider whether you’ve struggled with flooding issues in the past. If your house is in a flood-prone area, your yard has poor drainage, or you’ve dealt with any other water problems, then it’s likely well worth it to replace your old sump pump with a new one.
