"They did quality work in minimal amount of time. The only problem I have is the quote given me was for removal and cleanup. However when I went to pay them , they said the quote was just for taking the trees down. Clean up was another $200. The owner doesnâ t speak English. His daughter gave me the quote. His son was the one who collected the payment. He said he was sorry but I had to pay the extra money. I would hire them again but I would want a written quote prior to the work being done."

"I cannot say enough about Mr. Parrish and his crew. He came out the afternoon I called, realized we had a serious issue. This was on a Thursday and was there Monday morning to take down the tree. Outstanding group of men. We will be using them again."

"Courteous, task oriented, worked safely, respected our property. Cut down a 50 plus foot lightning struck pine and several large limbs over the driveway. Took extra time to shape the area over the driveway. Will definately hire them again for future tree removal."

Arborists questions, answered by experts

For tree care in Dothan, keep pruning shears, a pole pruner for tall pines, and a sturdy pruning saw. Safety gear like gloves, eye protection, and a hard hat is essential. Insect repellent and sunscreen help with Dothan’s heat and bugs. Stock pine bark mulch for sandy soil, and consider a wheelbarrow for debris. Store hydration supplies to stay safe during outdoor work.

Helpful?

Dothan’s humid subtropical climate affects tree service projects throughout the year. Spring brings pollen and storms, which can delay tree trimming. Hot summers limit work hours and increase the need for emergency tree removal after storms. Fall’s milder weather is ideal for major projects, while winter’s mild temperatures allow year-round care. Sandy soils and high humidity also influence tree health and equipment use.

Helpful?

For safer tree service projects in Dothan, keep kids and pets indoors, especially during tree removal or trimming. Plan work for early mornings or while children are at school to avoid distractions. Remove items like outdoor toys, pet bowls, and garden tools from the yard. Discuss the project with your family, and be mindful of sudden weather changes, such as Dothan’s frequent afternoon storms.

Helpful?

After tree service in Dothan, water newly pruned or planted trees, check for proper wound healing, and clear all debris, including branches that may fall into neighboring yards. Apply mulch to retain moisture in sandy soil, monitor for pests, and fertilize if needed. Take photos for insurance records, and schedule annual tree inspections, especially before hurricane season, to maintain healthy, storm-resistant trees.

Helpful?

In Dothan, you’ll find full-service tree companies handling tree removal, tree trimming, and stump grinding. Certified arborists focus on tree health and disease management, while storm damage specialists respond to emergencies after severe weather. Land clearing contractors prepare lots for new construction, and utility line clearance professionals manage trees near power lines. Choose a contractor based on your specific tree care needs.
