We are a locally owned and operated company that values honesty and integrity in all aspects of our business. We specialize in landscape curbing for both residential and commercial properties. "He and his team did a rush job! New paving on driveway.. it looks as if it's been down 20 years and it's less than a year. He said he guaranteed all his work. He straight up lied. When I called about dips, cracks and crumbling of spots in driveway his response was, "I said not to park and turn in same spots ".we did as he said but it all happened anyway plus more. Apparently the material he used was cheap or something left out. I watched one of his workers asked him a question and he crossed his hand across his neck, suggesting no to something that should have been done. All he did was ride the press roller up and down the driveway a few times then asked for his money and left.. leaving his few people to finish the job. One girl had flat metal shoes walking the edges. My husband had set up the job and I hadn't read his reviews or checked his work history. At first I said no I wasn't expecting him and he argued about having material ready that I had to pay for. Do not use him!!!"

Asphalt Driveways questions, answered by experts

Asphalt and concrete have their pros and cons, but it really depends on your priorities. If you’re looking for durability, concrete’s your best bet, lasting up to 50 years with minimal upkeep. Asphalt, on the other hand, needs more TLC with regular resealing but is cheaper to install and easier to repair. Concrete also wins in curb appeal and resale value, offering homeowners more customization. But if you’re looking for quicker, more affordable installation, asphalt has the advantage. Ultimately, your decision should align with your budget, willingness for maintenance, and design preferences.

If you’ve researched everything there is to know about gravel driveways and aren’t sold on the idea, you have options. Gravel alternative materials for driveways include traditional options like concrete and asphalt. If you want the look of natural stone, stone pavers are another option that sometimes uses gravel around the pavers. For maximum drainage, permeable driveways or brick driveways are also popular choices.

Three inches is a great thickness for a residential asphalt driveway that sees minimal to moderate traffic from cars, SUVs, and pickup trucks. However, a thicker driveway can better withstand the weight of a heavier vehicle, such as a trailer or a recreational vehicle. If you drive a heavy vehicle on a thin driveway, you risk cracking and damaging it.

The average cost of 1,500 square feet of asphalt ranges from about $10,500 to $22,500, depending on location, thickness, base material, and how accessible the job site is to crews and equipment. Keep in mind that your asphalt material cost may vary depending on its type, ranging from porous asphalt to heated blacktop. Standard asphalt costs $7 to $13 per square foot.

Sealing coat asphalt after 6-12 months and then every 2-3 years is recommended.
