Job when very well. Great contractor to work with in everyway. They did the design, provided a solid bid and completed the work in a very professional manner. Highly recommend.

  • Roche Construction
Outstanding general contractor. Provided estimate and schedule and stuck to it. We added several change orders because the work was so good. It's like having a new house.

I have used Fairview Consultants for three of my home inspections now and I will never use anyone else! Pamela and Mike are a husband and wife team who are both licensed inspectors with many years of experience, so you’re really getting two inspectors for the price of one! They are very professional and will take the time to walk the buyer through the house and explain everything. Their pricing is great compared to their competitors and you can rest easy that you got a top quality home inspection. Highly recommend using them for your home inspection needs!

  • Building Specialties Inc
They were here everyday working. Many days there were 3 different contractors working on my home. Jacob and John kept me apprised of the work and costs frequently. If there were additions added to the original contract, they were written and signed by both of us. Everyone knew where we stood. I have recommended Building Specialties to others. I would hire them without even getting any other bids. They were fair, consistent, hard working and most of all, honest!

I used Brian for a small remodel job in 2010 and saved his business card. Called him in again in August 2020 to install a baseboard heater. He listened to my specs and preferences, did the shopping for me, and installed the unit all within 24 hours. The price came in below his estimate. Who wouldn't hire a cheerful, competent, professional guy like him again?

  • Wallace Homes
Excellent all around service and results. Wally spent considerable time thoroughly evaluating the extent of damage in order to accurately determine the costs of repair vs rebuild - which included onsite consultations with structural and geotechnical experts. Ultimately decided to rebuild. Wally incorporated multiple engineering improvements at the soil, foundation, and framing levels to ensure the new structure would be vastly more earthquake resistant than the original. His team/crews have proven excellent craftsmen and easy to work with - from the architect, to the excavator and framing and finishing crews, etc. I consider the result an ideal blend of craftsmanship and value. My house is medium sized (2400 sq ft) but Wally has also built some magnificent homes in my neighborhood that are much bigger and more complex. He can also handle extensive repairs, as he is doing for a neighbor of mine (also quake damaged), and therefore I'm certain he could do wonders with just regular renovations as well. During the entire process I always felt he was giving me his honest answers and thoughts.

  • Spartan Contracting
Renovation went excellently. in addition to executing work, Spartan provided design recommendations. Spartan were available for questions, responded in a timely manner, and worked within our guidelines. The work was done well. The project costs and timelines were explained clearly and appropriate documentation was provided.

It took a little time for us to get together for est. But when it came to performing the work I had a lot of imperfection to over come but the work was excellent. Dave gave me a quote off the top of his head said it would be high end (over).Insure he went over but he only charged me what he quote.

I shopped around for a reasonable contractor to perform several bank mandated repairs on a recent home purchase. The main projects were new siding on a large detached garage and a new foundation on part of the home. Most of the contractors heard the bank was involved and bids went sky high. LK General listened to what I was working with (a limited budget) and offered numerous options along the way. In addition, LK General allowed me to save money by performing some work myself... something most contractors hate. Even before I purchased the home (or selected a contractor) LK General provided the most time and detail of all the contractors; Spending several hours at my home walking though it helping me inspect it. They even contacted the company who drilled the well to get the soil analysis from 10 years ago. LK General provided me options for saving money as well as design suggestions for utility, function or simply aesthetics. In the planning phases, we had eliminated windows on one section of the project to save money. Once we stared building up however, they highly suggested I spend a little more and put in a few windows... What a difference it makes! Along the way they would also notice other deficiencies in the home and offer design suggestions for the future, or in several circumstances just repair it for me at no additional cost. For example, while the workers were installing siding high up on scaffolding, they noticed a roof vent was bent over from snow. They explained what I needed, and after I picked up the material at the store, installed it for me, saving me the hassle of getting 20 feet up on a ladder in the middle of winter to install it myself. I should add that the bank demanded the repairs be performed in the middle of winter. The greatest of challenges was defrosting the ground for the footings. On my limited budget, LK General proved it's experience and ingenuity with a novel system of heat tape and insulation that defrosted frozen ground 4 feet deep in a few days.
