He worked with me throughout the entire process to produce the event I and my family had hoped for. The closed early, rearranged the dining area, hide the kitchen with a lovely floor to ceiling drape system and decorated. They helped me coordinate flowers and our open bar, accommodated our musical entertainment. I expected the food to be excellent from past experience, but they far out did themselves with beautifully presented buffet and dessert bar. The service was fantastic. We enjoyed a beautiful dinner, with white linens, real place settings and silver. It was the celebration that we had hoped for. They accommodated me by providing railing wood ahead of time so that I could pre-paint, and furnished some materials that made the painting easier. He subcontracted sinking of Techno-piles. This went quietly (esp. compared to piles) and made for a less messy appearance than sauna tubes. Over the course of 3.5 days, the Dave's regularly arrived around 9:30am and left around 5, though Dave Jensen worked late one evening to get the work to a logical breaking point. All seems to have been done professionally--one can't really tell at this point whether the concrete will crack in a year or two, but to the untrained eye, all looks very good. The railings and grip hold are particularly nicely done. Dave also had an idea for a slight expansion, which my wife and I liked and gave the go-ahead for. At the end of the project, the crew cleaned up very well. Her scope of work for my understanding is not as much as it was when I hired the company. In the middle of the construction season, I'm trying to find companies that could fit me into their schedule. It was really, really hard so by the time I got to Earth Stone for the foundation work, I figured if I could like at least get the concrete slab in the foundation and the concrete slab in the garage, then I'll be doing good at that point. So when this woman answered the phone and she said like, \"What can I do for you? How can I help you?\", by that point I'm crying on the phone. She was very good. She got somebody out to do the quote that day and then also gave me names of other companies I call for some of the other work I was doing. She was very, very extremely helpful. They were actually out here this Saturday because by the time we were able to hire them and get them out to the job site to work, we had a very rainy season in August. It rained every single day and trying to do a foundation work and pour a concrete slab. So the ground was completely saturated and we kept having water comes out there and everything. During the winter, our winter got below 30 degrees and so we can't do the foundation work. I told them I would definitely hire them again."},"url":"https://www.angi.com/companylist/us/ak/unknown/earth-stone-inc-reviews-8217101.htm"},"position":10}]}

FAQs for decorative concrete service projects in Juneau, AK
No, stamped concrete is extremely durable and relatively easy to maintain. To keep your stamped concrete clean and help prevent staining, you should sweep any debris off it regularly, like you would with any other hard outdoor surface. You should also plan on resealing the concrete about every four years, which is about the same timeline you’d expect from pavers and natural stones.
The average cost of stamped concrete is around $12 per square foot, but you might pay anywhere from $8 to $28 per square foot. The average 12-foot by 12-foot patio costs $1,730 on average. Your exact pricing will depend on the patio’s square footage, the condition of the area where you want to pour the concrete, the desired stamp pattern, concrete coloring, concrete grade, and local labor prices. Don’t forget to budget for extra costs like land preparation and additional concrete fortifications if necessary.
Adding a stamped concrete patio is an affordable way to bring some elegance into your backyard entertaining area, which could add to your home’s value. Provided your stamped concrete patio is installed by a local stamped concrete professional, the patio should last for 40 years or more, and prospective buyers will likely recognize value in that longevity. Keep in mind that permanent patios like concrete slabs will likely raise property taxes, but the added value is usually well worth the investment.
Many concrete companies that handle installing concrete slabs or standard concrete patios can also install stamped concrete, but you can also hire a company that specializes in stamped concrete. These textured concrete surfaces take some finesse to get right, and choosing a company that concentrates on stamped concrete patios and walkways is a good way to ensure the finished product looks top-notch. Additionally, specialists in stamped concrete will likely have more texture options that suit your preferences, like riverstone, sandstone, yorkstone, and cobblestone.
It’s possible to create stamped concrete yourself, but we don’t recommend it and it’s often not cost-effective. It’s easy to mess up the pattern of a stamped concrete patio or walkway, leaving you with an unsightly home exterior rather than the elegant solution you wanted. Any mistakes made during the ground leveling and concrete pouring process will also increase the risk of cracks forming on your concrete. Additionally, buying enough stamps to get the pattern in before your concrete cures can cost as much as hiring a professional to do the work for you.
