I called Circle to fix the heat on my rental property, they came out in the time frame they said they would. The diagnosed the problem, acquired the part and got the heat back on. I would defiantly use this company again.

Circle works with the Lochinvar (furnace & water heater) company as much as any plumbing/heating company in Anchorage. Lochinvar warranties their products and will replace a water heater for free (lifetime warranty). They'll also cover part of the labor. Unfortunately, Circle will replace with a different brand without asking you. They tell you that they'll submit the paperwork to Lochinvar so that you can get reimbursed for the faulty water heater after you pay Circle. But once Lochinvar finds out that Circle used a Bradford White or some other model to replace their water heater, Lochinvar won't reimburse you a dime. Circle charges $1100-1200 to install, tells you that they'll submit a claim to get you reimbursed for part of the labor cost (since they replaced a defective product), and that's the last you'll hear of it. When I followed up with Lochinvar, they said they don't pay to install another company's product. When I wrote a letter to Circle asking for a partial (30%-50%) break on the labor bill (since no one asked me if I wanted to switch water heater brands), the response I received from Circle was quite nasty.

The backwater valve in this 1960's duplex was damaged by tree roots and was virtually useless which is pretty scarry in the east side of town where AWWU's storm and waste water systems are old and can back up during big rain events. On a limited budget for yet another project on this house I was grateful for the bid I received from Circle which was more than fair for the amount of work involved. The valve that had to be replaced was accessible in a small closet area ( a real pain to work in I'm sure) of the basement which meant breaking out concrete and digging deep to get access to the old cast iron line, cutting the line and installing the new valve, also called a back flow preventer, then pouring concrete to close the hole up. The work looked like pretty tough going to me but the technician that did the work was pleasant and good natured during the whole dirty sweaty project. The final product looks and functions great.

When my hot water heater stopped working, I called Circle and a few other companies. I had worked with Circle before and been happy, but felt I should do some basic comparison shopping. Most offices I called were unable to help me arrange for an estimate but Circle was able to transfer me to their in house estimator and I received a call back in a day or two. After the conversation with the estimator, I had some follow up questions that I left on his voice-mail. I received a call back for those follow up questions a day later and scheduled the service at that time. Scheduling can be a little confusing with Circle, and the early options were not going to work well. The only advice I would encourage someone new to Circle to consider is telling them what you can do with schedule options, without being demanding, and they can generally work something out to match your service need with the right technician.
The install went as scheduled and the installer was professional and diligent. There was the need for a follow up a couple days later for a minor but necessary adjustment (small drip) but it was easy to do and they stood by their work. The cost matched the estimate provided and I am very happy with the work. I also feel they took the time to install a tank with quality construction (Dunkirk H2O I40).

I love those guys, they are fabulous. They saved me from a terrible plumbing company. They couldn't come out for a week or more, and if houses here don't have heat for a week or more, it is a serious problem,and everything freezes. They brought the heaters out so that the house could heat up. I had to go to the hotel a few times, and they moved me up the schedule. They had to take 2 days, but they were able to get it done in under a day. It was the best heat, my home was warmer than it had ever been. The price was substantially lower. I like the way they do business, half up front and half later.

- 1. Attempted to install the dishwasher (electrical box in the way) from him completing the work which I later had relocated.
- 2. Partially installed faucet and soap dispenser, but I discovered 3 days later after I finally put dish soap in the bottle and attempted to tighten the bottled and notice the dispenser top was spinning. So he did not fixed it in place.
- 3. Installed the garbage disposal with a hose that was too short that created a bend and let me know that I needed to purchase a longer hose as he was leaving.
- 4. I do not recommend Scott as he did not use good judgment.
5. I have spoken to them and they will be coming out to fix the issues listed above. I'm looking forward to positive results.

Circle Plumbing was very responsive from the initial person who came out to give us the estimate, the person who performed the work, and then a follow-up for a receipt we needed that we had mis-placed. All were very responsive and knowledgable.

If you use this firm, be sure to have its work inspected by a third party. Parts of my boiler installation were done out-of-code, and defective gaskets were used in the flue. Just three years later, the system is leaking condensate all over, and Circle refuses to make good on any of its poor work...

Circle plumbing replaced my old heating system and hot water heater. They were on time, efficient,and tidy. They even moved everything closer together,asked first, to give me more space in the garage. I was impressed with how quickly they got the job done and no mess afterward.

Was petsitting for a friend when I noticed on 10/14 the furnace was not running properly. Was not firing up properly or blowing (forced air furnace). Called Circle because the service sticker said they did installation. Was told could have someone out next afternoon. At one point the furnace did fire up and blow so I tought it was all right and called to cancel appointment. Opps, wrong. Next time it came on it was again not operating properly. So now had no appointment.
Called morning of 10/15 to again request service. Dispatcher said she would see what she could do, so gave her my cell number and returned to my home. Circle called at about 4pm to say a technician was on way so I hurried over to my friends house to let him in. He worked efficiently and had the furnace up and running in about an hour. He did not charge me I assume because unit was still under warrenty.
My friend was returning from an overseas trip the evening of 10/15. I did not want her returning to find this problem to deal with. I am grateful I could have this issue resolved before she arrived home.

I called to get my boiler checked before winter. Everyone was very professional and punctual. My furnace is very old and on it's last leg. I felt that he was honest with me and wasn't trying to push anything on me. He told me that he didn't feel comfortable taking anything apart due to fragile nature my boiler was in. I appreciate him not accidentally breaking my boiler and causing me an emergency.

I call Circle whenever my old house has a plumbing/heating issue. If it can be better handled by another company they tell me who to call. Twice this year I called specialists on Circle's recommendation. Both times the services were on point.

I called on Monday, and they sent Scot on Tuesday. We discussed what little I know about why the hose bib was leaking. He said he suspected it had frozen at some point and that it had burst. Unfortunately, he had to saw through the wall to find out that he was correct. He replaced the burst pipe and was done in under an hour. I was very impressed with his professionalism and speed!

I got estimates from three other companies but chose Circle. They took time to listen to my needs, gave me options, did not try to over-sell. They took the time to explain and answer technical questions when I needed help comparing. The boiler was installed in the time promised and they didn't leave a mess for me.
