- BURNS LANDSCAPE AND NURSERYI frequently go to Burns Landscaping to purchase plants. The staff is always helpful and the plants are always healthy. My husband & I wanted to have a flower bed created in our backyard with plants that would provide privacy. Sean called me right away and came out to look at the area. He did a rough drawing and offered some ideas. He then passed that information onto Melissa. She called and I met her at the garden center to make selections. Her team arrived within a week and wrapped up the project within 2 days. Everyone was extremely professional. They did an excellent job from delivery, to planting, to clean up. My husband and I couldn't be happier. Thanks Burns
- THE GARDEN CENTERThey had a very reasonable fee for planting a bush and they will come out and do all the prior checking for lines and they will tape the thing and come out and plant a bush for $15. I thought that was very reasonable. We got 8 bushes done. We also bought some other nursery stocks from them and they are one of the few nurseries' that don't keep their stock for a year. We were very pleased with them. The trees have only been in for a short time, but if within the year they don't survive they will come and replace them
- Milberger landscape nurseryThey do a large volumne of business therefore their plants are in good condition plus they take care of the plants in stock so they are at their best. Great selection of the more commonly used plants for the area, good specials and particularly their frequent buyer program. I would recommend Milbergers as a good place to buy plants. Have observed the staff is knowledgeable and more importantly if they do not know the answer they seek out staff who has the answer. This is very important as we have people moving to San Antonio from many parts of the country our growing conditions present much different from other parts of the country or even the state of Texa
- LOWE'SShawn in the Garden Department helped me find all the materials I was looking for, advised me of good deals, answered questions about general planting, etc.Several others in that department (I made a lot of trips for stuff) assisted me with finding other bargains, getting me the sale prices on items (that weren't coming up right in the system) and just in general a fantastic bunch
- THE GARDEN CENTERNice selection, good quality plants, offer all the services too, but I just bought some plants from them
- ALFARO TREE SALES INCIt went well overall. The men from Alfaro left intructions for watering the newly planted tree. The sales receipt states that there is a 50% guarantee on the tree for one year. Now, in mid May, the tree is doing very well.
- Home DepotWE CARRIED THE PLANTS HOME OURSELVES AND PLANTED THEM AND ALL ARE DOING FINE. THE SELECTIONS ARE GREAT SO YOU CAN CHOOSE THE FULLEST, OR TALLEST, OR WHATEVER YOU WANT FROM A LARGE QUANTITY IN STOCK. MY HUSBAND LIKES TO HAVE CHOICES AND TO PICK OUT FOR HIMSELF.

We gave a general idea of what we wanted, and they went to work and developed an outstanding plan for our yard. Work was outstanding. THe crew was knowledgeable and very polite. We were able to make changes "on-the-fly" without any problems. When there were issues of plants dying, they came out and honored the warranty with no problems or issues

"Well, we had the three designs to have a pool enclosure that would include a patio enclosure to choose from. Frank explained how each one would look like one smooth design and compliment our house.
<br /> We were given options of a pool enclosure roof and Frank suggested a mansard converting to an A-frame design. With drawings to show our options, we chose to go with Frank's recommendation. We never once tried to sell us something that we didn't ask for.
<br /> Frank and his crew built our enclosure. His craftsmanship is so precise, and would review what his crew was doing to make sure that they were building to his satisfaction. They cleaned up their work area every day before leaving and they worked straight through the weekend.

"Another company said we needed our entire foundation repaired, but Baird actually did detailed measurements and determined only one section of our foundation needed repair. Worker were polite, professional, and unobtrusive. Work was completed quickly and the repairs did the trick. "I have a 40+ year old sprinkler system and controllers. Multiple zones were not working, heads were busted off, etc. Albert was excellent. He diagnosed the problems with the zone controllers and the main system controller and was able to locate all the broken and leaking sprinkler heads. He fixed everything. What I really liked was his knowledge in how to diagnose the wiring problems and doing the work efficiently. I plan to have him back to upgrade the whole system. Albert, well done.
