When Mr Bixby showed up for the quote, I was impressed by his professional appearance and punctuality. He seemed knowledgeable and trustworthy and told me he is an arborist, so I hired him. Unfortunately he did not come to my house the day the work was done. I have no idea if any of his crew were arborists or not, but was most unhappy with what happened to a tree right outside my family room window. That tree had some lower branches that we would hang bird feeders on. But the fellow who trimmed that tree stripped all of the lower branches leaving a little cluster of leaves at the end. The branches are now long and scraggly and the leaves on the end look ridiculous! No more greenery out my window, just long ugly sticks. I was very sad that the owner didn’t come to supervise. The foreman hadn’t even spoken to him because he said he only had written instructions for the work. Worst part is that another company warned me not to let that happen to my trees, and when I talked to Mr Bixby, I didn’t see that coming!!

Absolutely terrible. Randy's responsibility was to complete my job entirely, before attending too anyone else. Instead he cut my time short so he could do what the neighbor wanted him do. We never even discussed the job as completed, because he began to work with the neighbor. As a result, I asked him to return which he did to complete the job. Mr. Randy did not handle this issue professionally. He should have finished my job to my satisfaction first, then gone over to my neighbors. Instead while his men were still working on my job he began working on my neighbors. I believe it's because she handed him an envelope with money. In any case, Mr. Randy handled this job very unprofessionally and it was also observed by several other neighbors in the subdivision.

"The crew was set to trim Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s trees as well as the neighbor's trees all on the same day. When the crew began working Mrs. [Member Name Removed] and her neighbor get into a yelling match cursing at one another over tree branches. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] was the unprofessional client that brought Randy into their disagreement. Randy has been in business for over 25 years and had never had clients behave so badly. Randy and the crew were there to trim trees not referee neighbors. In the end the work on Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s home was completed according to our bid. She was just unhappy that we also work for the neighbor and other neighbor's on her street. Mrs. [Member Name Removed] has no idea what customers are on our schedule for the day and most customers do pay when the work is complete. Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s time was not cut short it was actually extended to accommodate for bad behavior. Randy did not need to explain to her his schedule or when and how a customer pays. In conclusion Randy went back out to Mrs. [Member Name Removed]'s home after the embarrassing altercation and did additional work for her to to satisfy our customer. On a side note our office received emails from other neighbor's who we have worked for apologizing for the scene Randy had to endure."

Have used Out on a Limb for several years and always pleased. On this particular job, the tree trimmers failed to do the job we had requested. When I called them back the owner had them out ASAP and got it done. They are top notch.

I had a couple estimates. Out On A Limb was great! The guys came out and were very polite and professional. I was impressed with the work and would not hesitate to hire theme. There price was reasonable and the work and fantastic. Great job!

They came out about a year ago. I would say an A for service and maybe a B for cost. I did recommend them to somebody because they asked and I told them who I had and gave them there name.

Also see above. It went real bad. Two trees are ruined, in our opinion. I used this company because their bid was 1000 cheaper than the real arborist's. You get what you pay for. I had to go to the nursery and buy $700 worth of shrubs to fill in the cut out area against our house.

Called the Saturday of Labor Day weekend and they responded but weren't able to get to the house for the job until Tuesday after Labor Day - which was understandable

I am extremely happy with the work done. All of the trees look great and I was very impressed with how well they cleaned up my yard after the trim. The work crew were very freindly and made sure I was satisfied before leaving for the day. Getting a hold of the office was a little frustrating as they seem to use a third party to take the calls and you have to wait a bit for a call back. Nonetheless, great overall experience using this company.

originally scheduled early morn but were delayed from other job (potential rain issue ?). Owner called and said would be later in day. They arrived later than what I thought. the team of 3 got busy and did the work appropriately. they pruned and the tree and selaed accordingly. they were very nice and asked what I wanted to do with certain pieces of wood. I had trim an extra neighbor limb that was getting to far in the yard.
overall, very professional team. they cleaned up well and made sure I was happy with outcome. this was my first experience with a tree service. I would call again.

Very good experience. The estimator (Randy I believe) met me on schedule and recommended a good course of action for the work I wanted done, which was removal of one tree and pruning of the other, plus shrub removal and stump grinding. Crew showed up on schedule, did all work safely and professionally, as well as efficiently. Would recommend and will hire again for future trimming.

They arrived when they said they would and checked in with me to go over what the owner of the company and I had discussed. The crew began work immediately. They didn't mind that I gave them some special requests in the pruning. They were very efficient with their work and very fast, being careful not to damage any of the statues or fences I have in my yard. They were careful not to let limbs fall in the pool and cleaned up the pool from all debris when they were finished. When they were through I changed my mind about a tree and asked them to remove it also. They did so without hesitation and said that the company would just send me a bill for the change of plan. I was totally happy with their service and will definitely call them again for any tree service I should ever need. Mr.. Bixby is a certified arborist and was very helpful in giving me advice on what needed to be done and what didn't. This company is excellent to work with.

Randy and team were very punctual. They performed the work as they said they would and they took the time to thoroughly clean up. My trees look awesome. I would not hesitate to recommend.
