  • The Service Guys - Steve Gatewood

Steve was prompt, courteous, and professional. He contacted me very quickly, came out on a Sunday to preview the job, and returned the following day to remove and haul away the goal. I would recommend his service and would definitely hire him for future jobs.

Steve was on time, friendly, explained what he was going to do, completed the job in less than an hour, and let me know when it was completed. The mailbox was perfectly leveled, and the area around the pole was only very mildly disturbed. It was an excellent job!

Steve came and did a walk through at the beginning of February. He was very detailed in taking pictures, measuring, etc. for the items we listed at the time. He sent us an estimate on e-mail within a week and we accepted and agreed to a start date of 2/15/10. He reserved the entire week for us (yes, there was that much work!) and once he started fixing things we told him we wanted to add things. We are VERY VERY happy with all aspects of Steve's work and plan on letting him handle all our handyman work in the future

The bathroom turned out great. Nancy helped with tile colors and selection. Tom is a master with tile. Great job. I can't wait to have my Master bath remodeled.

  • Circle City Lock & Key Locksmith

This locksmith was professional and performed an effective service creating new car keys to replace my old worn keys that were hard to turn in the ignition. Jason checked my home door locks and mailbox offering some locksmith advice on how to care for them and adjusted some of the locks. 100% satisfied customer

Work was estimated over the phone to fall within company's $250 minimum for two hours of work. Worker arrived when scheduled and completed the job fully satisfactorily. Follow-up call was received to ask whether work was satisfactory. I would definitely use this service again for other needs, should they arise. I particularly appreciated the company's ability to follow directions provided by phone so that I did not need to be present when the work was being done

Tom told me it would take approximately three days for the project and he gave me the exact day and time he would start. He arrived earlier than originally planned (at our request and without hesitation). All work was covered in the initial estimate and I added a few things so he had a list of many things to do. Tom worked diligently and kept to his schedule despite the fact that I added a few things to his list. He was happy to fulfill my requests and explained everything in detail. At the end of the job, I found that he had thoroughly cleaned up after himself. Each area was clean and tidy. Tom has a very pleasant personality and was a genuine pleasure to work with. I feel blessed to have located him. He is a trustworthy person and that's difficult to find in service persons these days. I would definitely recommend Tom to my family and friends

Very plesant experience. Service provider arrived right on time and the entire job was completed within the required timeframe. First 30 minutes spent reviewing and explaining work to be preformed and introduction to two of my neighbors because we needed access to their property in order to make repairs to the privacy fence. Next we went to the hardware store to get needed supplies (2 miles from my house, returned to my house upon which the service provider immediately began making repairs

It was very pleasant to have Ruslan to fix our problems. He has nice personality, besides his hight professional skills - I realise that after looking through his photo-book of accamplished jobs. (I guess, to fix my problems were nothing to Ruslan) He fixed dormers and chimney with PVC boards and hardy siding. Now we don't have to warry about rotted wood. Also he fixed security lights and our mail box. Everything was done with good timing, clean, fair price and great quality. I certainly will use him again for any projects and recomend him to everyone. We had a hard time to choose a contractor, who we could trust with our house, but we could leave the keys from our house to Ruslan and feel absolutely safe. It was very important to me

  • Nelcon Residential Repair & Construction

Before he arrived, Nelson asked me to provide him with a list in advance of the things I wanted him to do. He explained that his work moves along quickly, so I should be sure to have enough tasks to use up the time I'd paid for. (I'd gotten the $259 for seven hours of work coupon.) He: 1) Restapled a loose piece of molding in my kitchen; 2) Installed the pole for my newspaper holder (which had to be dug into the ground) and then assembled the holder; 3) Took my mailbox off its stand to figure out why the bands weren't staying on, discovered the untreated wood underneath was rotted, bought a piece of treated board, went to his house to cut it to size and then put everything back together and attached the bands and new flag. And ... 4) He installed a hose holder on the wall in my garage; 5) Also installed a wall-hung system to hold brooms, tools, mops, etc. in the garage; 5) Replaced a burned out-bulb in my bathroom; 6) Fixed the fan, which only ran intermittently, in that same bathroom. 7) Permanently attached the mounting rod for a wall-hung quilt in my living room; 8) Put up three display shelves in a hallway (and was patient as I made sure they were exactly where I wanted them to go); 9) Put a new bulb in my garage door motor; 10) Looked at a downstairs ceiling light and determined there was nothing wrong with it (I thought the glass was being held in place with painter's tape); 11) Hung a wall clock; 12) Removed some unused screws from a metal door that I hadn't been able to get out; 13) Replaced a toilet flapper. In other words, he accomplished a lot. The only thing on my list that Nelson didn't do was related to the newly discovered improper installation of my kitchen countertop. He said I was better off having a professional granite installer look at it and fix it properly, although he did have a potential solution for me if I couldn't make that happen. I appreciated that he was honest with me about how it should be done correctly. Nelson is an engineer, and it shows in the way he approaches his work. He clearly cares about doing a job properly and providing excellent service. He also explained to me what he was doing and answered my questions as he worked. And he told me this great tip about cleaning off dusty fan vents: Put them in the shower to wash them off. It works beautifully and is so much easier than trying to wash them off under the sink faucet
