After calling LG&E suspecting a gas leak in the basement, they came and shut off the gas supply to the house. It was thought there was a leak at the furnace, as well as the hot water heater, possibly elsewhere. Called the company who installed furnace and air and made arrangements for repair. No one showed up. I then called Maeser who came out promptly, looked over the situation, gave me an estimate for work to be done. It included two new valves - one for furnace and one for water heater. The work was completed in less than an hour but the two workers who came were extremely professional and courteous. Even to the point of calling LG&E for me to let them know that the work was completed and to send someone out quickly to turn the gas back on. Within 45 min., I was back in business. I would definitely call Maeser again

During the ice storm and power outage in January, we smelled a gas leak. We had another company come out and fix the leak. After they fixed the initial leak, they realized that there must be more. They fixed four other leaks and said LG&E should be satisfied enough to turn our gas back on, but LG&E still said it wasn't holding pressure. So, the other company said we probably just need all new gas piping for our 93 year old house. They gave us an estimate, but we wanted to get more to compare with. So, we called Maeser and a third company. The third company wanted to rip out walls and was going to charge us $5,000. Maeser's representative looked around more and found out that they could do the job without ripping out walls. The price was considerably less too. The workers did the job quickly and we got our gas back on the same day

I suspected a gas leak & called Dauenhauer around noon. They were at my house by 3pm. Dauenhauer rep diagnosed the problem (leaky line to old gas dryer) and had it fixed to my satisfaction within 25 minutes. Normal first hour/diagnosis fee is $125, but they had a coupon on their website for $50 off a service call, which brought the bill down to a very reasonable $75. This rep was very professional and Dauenhauer as a whole was extremely responsive. Great experience; I will definitely use them again and recommend them to my friends

"Our water heater went out and we had to get a new one. We talked to several plumbers and settled on ASI--a fortunate choice. They came right out and even gave me a quote over the phone. When Steve got here, it turned out the heater they brought was the wrong size, because I didn't know size made a difference. He immediately went to go get the right one, but he realized after further investigation we couldn't have a gas heater at all--the CO2 pipe just wouldn't vent right in the small space we have to put the heater in. Now we had to get an electric heater AND a dedicated circuit for it. Ben at ASI recommended an electrician (who was great) and poor Steve came back a THIRD time without complaint. On the morning when he was finally able to install the heater, Steve was early (which was great) and efficient. He finished before he had originally said he would, even after telling me about a leaky valve in our basement, and fixing it for a reasonable fee. In fact, the whole job was half the price of some of the other plumbers I got estimates from. Steve wore his mask at all times and patiently explained everything to me--both of which I really appreciated. ASI is our go-to plumber from now on.

"We got up this morning to discover that the toilet was backing up. Not exactly what you need to happen on a Sunday moring. I called Roto-Rooting Plumbing and Drain Services. Brian called me almost immediately after I called the office. Within 30 minutes, he was at my house. Unbeknowst to me, our daughter had flushing feminine products down the toilet. As most plumbers will tell you, these products do not dissolve. Brian worked very **** ** roto-rooting the side yard where I have a clean out. I also have a clean out in the front yard. The clean out on the side yard was disgusting. For the sake of decency, I will not go into detail, but what he was pulling out was disgusting. This still did not fix the problem, so he accessed the clean out in the front yard repeating the same steps. He hit a blockage that he could not seem to penetrate. He changed bits, repeated the process, as well as the side yard again. In the meantime, my wife had been running water in bathroom sink and bath, as well as the kitchen, in addition to running water in the bathtub. As a last measure, he also inserted my yard hose down the clean out. He was basically at the point of giving up when it dislodged. He was here on a Sunday, sweating profusely, but finally prevailed. I was very happy that he was able to resolve the issue. The next step would have involved sending another crew tomorrow moring to insert a camera in the sewer lines to detect the point of blockage. Fortunately, through determination and perseverance, he succeeded around 5pm. Brian had a lot of tenacity and stick-to-itive-ness, so I was very happy with the outcome and work.
