"Logan did an awesome job installing new outlets for me, and did an amazingly thorough job of not only the new work, but cleaning up the space exactly as it was when he was finished. He was very quick to set up my appointment after the initial estimation, and I’d gladly work with Ward’s Services again."

"I have nothing but praise for CHS. They are the most helpful and friendly company I have had the pleasure of dealing with in many years. They go out of their way to satisfy you. I highly recommed this company to anyone interested in a home security system without spending a fortune or being sold anything that is not necessary for protecting the security of your home.."

"We just recently moved into a new house and the current setup was a wall mount and associated wiring on the wall opposite of the fireplace. We really wanted to switch that up to a mount over the fireplace. We not only needed to mount the new TV but also run electric through the wall to cabinet with power on the other side. We wanted to upgrade the sound as well. Dan and Logan accomplished all the above flawlessly with very little lead time. Really love the new setup and plan on having them back out to work on the basement theater system as we finish moving in."

"The computer technician, Tammy, was excellent.  He arrived on time and was very personable.  Our computer is several years old and has been running slow, so he cleaned it up for us.  He tried to show us how to perform some maintenance tasks on our own.
After he was finished, he had to call in to the main Geek Choice number to settle the bill.  When I spoke with the person on the phone from Geek Choice, I was astonished when they told me the bill was for $300, which included 2.5 hours service at $100 per hour and a $50 fee for home visit.  I informed her that I had ordered the first hour through Angie's List for $75 and that the home visit fee was waived.  She retrieved my information and charged me a balance of $135, to include the reduced hourly fee of $90 per hour.  So Angie's List saved me almost $100, which I totally appreciate.
I give the technician high marks but the company, Geek Choice, seems like just another corporation trying to make more money off the consumer than they should.  I'm glad I went through Angie's List.

"Purchased an Angie's List deal for home computer tech service for two hours for $59.00. Bryce called me within the day and we scheduled a home visit. He arrived on time and got my daughter's computer working. As he was working on it he was explaining to her what he was doing and why. He was very informative, patient and knowledgeable. It's up and running beautifully!  Better than before it crashed. He moved things from one drive to another and explained what updates to avoid and why. Not only did he fix the computer, but gave her a lot of information too.I wouldn't hesitate to call him again if needed and I recommend him highly.

Yes, installing a home theater is worth it for the opportunity to create a movie theater-level experience in your own home, especially if you want to upgrade how you entertain guests, watch movies, and play video games. Your budget determines the size and capability of your in-home theater, so the value you derive from the home theater you can install depends on your needs, expectations, and how often you use the space. Consider choosing your home theater features based on the value they’ll bring to users to ensure you invest your project budget wisely.

On average, installing a home theater costs around $17,500, but prices can range from $2,000 to $63,000, depending on the features and technology installed. Location and theater upgrades will also likely impact cost, with prices increasing in areas with higher demand and cost of living. Hiring a home theater installation professional can cost from $60 to $80 per hour for their services.

Installing a new home theater or upgrading your current one will likely add value to your home, as many prospective buyers will consider it an exciting bonus feature. However, the value of a home theater is subjective and depends on the buyer, so there’s no guarantee that it’ll increase your home sale value. Keep in mind that home theaters typically have a return on investment rate of about 65%.

The best place to put your home theater is a space that does not get outside light, such as a basement. Another consideration is the proximity to bedrooms or offices that may be disturbed by the surround sound playing at high volume. A higher ceiling works best for mounting a projector, so consider space and sound limitations. For help determining the best place for your home theater, consider hiring a professional home theater installer who can provide recommendations and project plans.
