The work that was done on my bathroom and deck is fabulous. Very pleased. I have more projects that need to be done and I will be calling them again.

I trust Mighty Cut for not only my grounds keeping, everything from maintaining my water gardens to rose beds, but also all my home maintenance needs which include everything from sheet rock repair to changing out security system cameras, unstopping a drain, even hanging artwork, Jeff can do anything and he does it correctly. I would be lost without the plethora of services he provides. I trust him so much he has the keys and security code to my house. I recommend Mighty Cut without hesitation

I hired these guys to move a modular office inside a production facility on the manufacturing floor. I do not think this is their typical job, but everything went very smoothly for me. Quote was better than the rest of the general contractors that I had asked, fast responces and good communication though out the process, mininal disruptions to my operations, minimal supervision, and they were professional in the job. Would use again

  • Disaster Mitigation & Restoration
    5.0
The morning after my home was ruined by a tornado I hired Disaster Mitigation and Restoration to rebuild and repair. The first thing they did was walk through the home video taping the damage. Shortly thereafter they began removing the damaged contents and clearing the area for repairs. The salvaged contents of my home went to their climate controlled storage facility. I received a insurance estimate from my adjuster which stated what was covered and what was not going to be repaired under my policy. DMR worked with me to put it all back the right way. If something wasn't covered by insurance they either provided me what I found to be a very cost effective means of handling the issue or fixed it outright without question. I was left with the impression that they truly understood their work and the final product was the best advertising they could do. The most notable situation I recall dealt with a concrete patio that I had them pour. I had not had a patio prior to the tornado but figured I would pay DMR to install one since they were working on the house already. I visited the house after the patio was poured and was somewhat skeptical about the grading of the concrete away from the house. Patios need to direct water away from the house. I had worked in concrete before and though the grading wasn't the best job I accepted it as adequate and didn't mention any complaints to the DMR. A week later I visited the house and discovered a new patio had been poured. When I asked the builder what happened he said "I didn't like the grade so we did it again." Unbelievable! The original grade would have worked fine, he made it better

I was very clear with Ben (the owner) that we expected him and 2-3 more guys on site everyday from 9-5. There is just too much that needs to get done without it turning into a month to two month project. Anyway, we quickly discovered that you can't believe anything he says. He says he'll be there at 9; he's there at 11. He says he'll be there in the afternoon; he doesn't show up all. He said he was having a bad week and to give him until the end of week 2 and week 2 went much like week 1. Ben was there for day 1 and a second time when he actually had 4 people there are made good progress, but then it was back to two. We made it very clear that during week2 (in which he was going to have full crews there to "bang out" a lot of the work) we needed the bedrooms finished since school starts this week. Once the bedrooms were floored, the kids would at least have a place to sleep and we could move furniture into those rooms so the kitchen\living room could be done. I.e. Live up to your word and have the people there to get it done you say you will. I set very clear expectations and time and time again, he ignored them. I tried to work with him and gave the guy multiple chances to correct things, but he chose not to. We finally had to cut our losses. The two guys that were there regularly (Tom and Jeremy), did good work and were extremely professional and courteous and this review in no way reflects on them of their body of work. There's only so much two guys can get done in a day. A third guy Ben would bring with him as a laborer was (self-admittedly) not experienced and managed to tear up\make holes in more than one wall while removing the old trim, as well as bending a curtain rod. Remove it or at least have the decency to tell me, "Hey I bent this rod...sorry." As if only getting a weeks worth of work done wasn't bad enough, he then thinks we owe him for half of his estimated price with only 1/4 of the work done. Sorry pal, but 1 week of work taking 2 weeks due to lack of manpower does not equal more labor costs from me. Out of quite a long list of projects, several were started to some degree and none were finished completely by the time we let him go. After the fact we found he is not accredited with the BBB and currently has an F rating for failure to respond to customer complaint...sounds all too familiar. Stay away from this guy unless you have a non-occupied dwelling and all the time in the world to get it done. He talks a lot about truth and honesty, but the owner obviously doesn't understand what either of those words mean
