The overall project took about three months. The construction, wiring and plumbing were done effectively and decently. Several things weren't explained very well, if at all. My biggest complaint is that two different items we bought (which we were told would be reimbursed) were not looked at ahead of time. The plumbing was done incorrectly so the shower kit we really wanted couldn't be used. The shower rod wouldn't fit after the tiling. Checking items the client wants to use beforehand is common sense. Pretty disappointing, especially since we bought it toward the beginning of the project so it couldn't be returned (and wasn't reimbursed). J. Ashley did come out after the project was finished to repair an outlet, which was above and beyond his contractual obligations. I would recommend J Ashely for smaller, straight forward work like flooring, but not for anything major or complicated.

J. Ashely is simply quality, quality, quality. They are the absolute best contractor. Their excellent staff installed a plank vinyl flooring in our kitch and dining, painted various areas of our home, replaced baseboards and also fixed an electrical box that had come loose from our wall. The staff were all very honest, hardworking, trustworthy and friendly. They left the home clean, very courtesou. Great honest pricing!

My husband and I purchased a home that was built in the 1950’s. The kitchen and both bathrooms were in desperate need of remodeling. Being new to the area, I used Angie’s List to gather a list of potential contractors. Jason (J Ashley) was the first to respond. Jason responded to my request within 24 hours to set up an appointment. He was very professional, prompt, and listened to what we were wanting to accomplish. He provided thorough quotes for each room and explained all of the aspects of the project. After the project started, they always communicated what was going on each day and there were never any surprises. Everyone that had a role in the project, including Jane, was awesome. This old house definitely gave the challenges, but they always overcame the challenges with quality work and creativity. We are extremely satisfied with the quality of work and the outcome of each room. Jason, Jane, and the entire crew gave us a great experience and we will definitely use them again for future projects. J Ashley did not disappoint!

I wanted to remodel my bathroom. It was outdated with a large corner garden tub and a very small shower. I had a vision of exactly what I wanted to do. Jason, the owner, came out to do an initial walk-through and quote. He listened to everything I wanted to do and did not try to sway me to do anything else. His quote was detailed and included everything we talked about. His contracts and pricing were reasonable and we happily proceeded. His foreman Matt, and his crew were superb. They arrived every day on time. Extremely trustworthy, even making me comfortable enough to leave the house. They were very diligent about laying down the tarps, keeping demo and building as tidy and clean as possible. Jason came by regularly to check progress and answer any questions and address any changes or add-ons that I wanted to do. Jane, the office manager, was quick to answer any additional questions and provide information as I asked. This was a seamless transition and I couldn't be happier. I highly recommend this company to do any and all remodeling, updating and general construction projects in the home. I would not hesitate to use them for my next one. I now have my dream bathroom and it's fabulous! Many thanks to J Ashley.

This company is very professional they do exactly what they say they will. Jason, Jamie, Matt and Anthony are awesome at what they do. They remodeled our kitchen and put flooring downstairs, their work is clean, and they work very efficiently. I was very nervous about a remodel but they put our minds at ease immediately. This is a great company to work with and we look forward to them coming back to do more projects for us. Started with Mr. Ashley back on January 3rd regarding remodeling my kitchen. What should have taken 2 weeks - tops -to complete for an 8x8 ft kitchen, took a good 4 months to get done. The cabinets are solid wood, and beautiful, but that's all that was good! The workmanship, not so good. Chips in the cabinets, screws stripped, shelving left without shelf "pins," and molding left unpainted. I didn't notice this until quite some time after the project was finished. The owner said that if I gave them a "good" review that I would receive a $25 gift certificate. Yippee. I paid a ridiculous amount (over 12K) for a square footage of less than 10sq ft. Now, after living here, and paying what I did, what a ripoff. I would never hire or recommend this business.

"All I can say is wow!! I priced a complete kitchen remodel and you accepted the estimate. I guess your having buyer remorse. I hate your not happy with your kitchen. As far as the chips,stripped out screws and molding that needs to be touched up, I would have been more then happy to come and fix these minor , but common mistakes.. all you had to do is call or email me and I would have came right over and addressed your issues. I still will even though it's been almost two years since I done your kitchen remodel. I stand behind my company 100 percent. Jason and his team did excellent work in our bathroom and hallway. As someone who has some DIY knowledge - the team impressed me with taking care of all the little things that made the bathroom come together. Worked with Jason and his team to have a bathroom remodel completed and a hallway subfloor removed and replaced after having a huge mold issue in our crawl space repaired earlier in the year. They were prompt with an estimate and offered fair pricing. They were also accommodating when we needed to add on additional work beyond our original bathroom remodel estimate. I have two more rooms that need subflooring and flooring replacements, and certainly plan on using them again for those projects. Don’t hesitate to them!

I contacted J Ashley in April 2019 for a shower leak. Repairs were completed and project paid in full upon completion. The unit began leaking again in the same spot in September 2019 and since that time I have contacted Jason repeatedly to look at the issue. He did not show for a confirmed appointment this past Tuesday so I am now having to hire another contractor to repair the damage. Additionally, the project had a one year warranty from the date of completion that is clearly not being honored. Will not do business with this company again.

"when we came in to do your repairs I explained to you that not installing a new shower door I could not guarentee you it would not leak (you chose a shower curtain) you was also informed that it was not a good idea to reuse worn out parts and in doing it this way I could not guarantee the job (this wad ok then) you told me you didn't have enough money to buy all new materials (its was a rental) your words not mine.. I will except this F because I should have walked away when you was not willing to let us fix it the using new and unused materials ... thank you for this review almost a year later ..best of luck to you.??♂️??♂️"

Jason was the first to respond to our request for service and he was very professional. He brought over an access panel, cut a hole in the ceiling, and we discovered that the problem was coming from a small leak through the shower door. He practically put in the access panel in for free. Jason is an honest guy and pleasant to be around if we had to do this again JAshley would be our first call.
