Again, I want to reiterate there are tons of contractors out there, but these folks are great in our opinion. My only negative thing to say is they sometimes didn't keep the exit door always shut and our dog got out a few times

It turns out we got custom made cabinets, walls moved, countertops for less than what Lowes was going to charge us for just cabinets. One of those contractors never showed up, 1 didn't even come, and another came did an estimate, but never would return our calls. Cornerstone came did a thorough inspection and came back once more, and provided a detailed estimate of the work we wanted. We appreciated that and made the decision to hire them. They came and helped us fix the structural repairs and other cosmetic repairs we needed. Throughout the process they were very professional. We are hiring them again soon for some items in our new place

Shane actually went out of his way to come on nights and weekends to come and finish our job before the holidays. Which he usually doesn't work weekends or night. We weren't in a hurry but just wanted it done before xmas. Didn't think it was going to happen but to my surprise it was completed 10 days befor. Very professional as always and a joy to talk with. - DISCOUNT RENOVATIONSInitially we asked for a full bathroom to be place in the laundry room of our basement. We also asked for the washer and dryer to be set up to work in our garage. Shane gave us an estimate of between $6000 and $8500. This was about what we wanted to spend and gave the ok. As he began to buy the materials that would address our needs he came back to us and recommended that we move one wall out 2 feet. The bathroom will be used primarily for my father who is 82 and he asked for a special shower with a seat and handles. We felt this was reasonable and were actually happy with Shane’s plan which would allow Dad more room. Shane also found a pump that would work for the shower, toilet and sink. Understandably, another estimate had to be drawn up and this brought the total cost to $11,000. Considering everything that was being done, we felt the increase was reasonable. Shane explain to us what actions he was taking throughout the project and we felt confident he would do the job right. He completed the job two weeks ago now and we are totally satisfied

He painted all the exterior trim and recaulked all the windows. Painted the entire interior walls/baseboard/crown molding. Also touched up some areas of the ceiling and made repairs where needed. "I've never really been happy with my living room - traditional in style, dark, and drab. We purchased some new furniture, but when I tried to find fabric for new window treatments, I was discouraged with the selection in the 4 stores I visited and felt stuck. I called Deborah and presented her with two big challenges right off the bat - 1)decorating around a dark brown overstuffed leather sectional and a loud, multicolored chair and 2) telling her I'd really like to have the room transformed by Thanksgiving, giving her about a 6 week time frame. She immediately got to work, starting off by really listening to me and quickly figuring out what was needed for the change I desired. She then brought the most beautiful fabrics, much better quality than anything I had seen - they looked very expensive but were very reasonably priced. We then selected fabrics for pillows, a custom-made ottoman. and an antique settee to be reupholstered. Since we have an open floor plan and the living room was undergoing a dramatic change, she suggested ways to make a more cohesive look through artwork, accessories, new drapes and window treatments for the dining room and kitchen. She brought the most amazing artwork, accessories, and lamps - I loved everything she chose because she learned my preferences very quickly. She and her assistant, J.R. worked tirelessly, and were always pleasant and fun to work with. Unbelievably, everything was completed by Thanksgiving, and the results were nothing short of amazing! When my kids arrived from college, as well as other family members and guests, they couldn't believe the difference! My son came home a few days before everything was completed, and once the final things arrived, he said, "Wow, Mom, this place is really looking groovy!" - high praise coming from a guy who previously never paid much attention to such things. I'm so glad I called Deborah - she has a vision and access to such wonderful things that I could never begin to match. My house is so beautiful now - bright, full of color, but also calming and relaxing - and all at a very reasonable price! I honestly couldn't feel more positive about the entire experience.

"The blinds were beautiful but ¼ inch too long. They normally take ¼ off for security but not this time. And since it was a custom blinds order they also refused to take them back and trim them. As a result, I had to trim them manually with a hacksaw. I’m 8 months pregnant. Very annoying. "
