An interior designer incorporates effective qualities that takes an ordinary space and transforms it into a client’s desired living and working area. At the beginning of a project, an essential characteristic of an interior designer is that she listens to the client’s inspirations and needs without bias in order to guide and create an area with those components in mind. With every project, it is paramount that the designer is considerate of her client’s budgetary constraints. Although it is detail oriented and time consuming, the interior designer must be able to organize and manage the various specialists used in order to install and complete a space These aspects of listening to the clients, budgetary considerations, managing of resources and contractors, and building codes contribute to a successful interior design project.

Loved working with Emily! She helped us organize and make our small house more functional and pleasing to the eye. I had lots of ideas but not much direction and could not figure out what might work best.
