    Brian reattached the soffit, the fascia, and replaced the missing shingles. He also removed some moss that had accumulated on one portion of the roof and sealed around all vent pipes/skylights. He did a great job and even took pictures of the areas of the roof he'd repaired so that I could see what he'd done without having to climb up there. A few days later we had another wind storm. Brian called to check in with me to make sure I didn't have any other problems. Greatly appreciated! Last week my Dad's electrical outlet in his garage stopped working. I contacted Brian approximately 6:30p and he was there before noon the next day. He replaced the outlet and it works great now

    The roofing crew was very fast. They completed the tear off and shingled the roof in under 8 hours. Cleanup was thorough and they did an adequate job protecting landscaping. I was a little disappointed with the aesthetics of some of the work, but someone came back and fixed those things, so overall I am very satisfied. The sofit, fascia, and gutters look great!     Our experience with Avalon has been exceptional so far. They had to work in cold and snowy conditions but were able to complete the job over the course of a week. Everyone we dealt with was super friendly and showed understanding of the situation with our roof. We did still have a small leak around the chimney after the work was completed but they came out a few days later and repaired it. Since we did have snow falling and on the ground, they did their best to clean up all the old shingles that were removed but with the melting that has been happening we can still see quite a bit of a mess in the lawn and garden. We have been told that they will return in the spring and do further clean up around the house and at this time we have no reason to disbelieve them. Overall very happy with our choice to have them perform the work

    Read this if you are considering them!!! I decided to go ahead and purchase 6” gutters and told the salesperson "I would like to move forward”. I was told a scheduler would call me the following week to set an installation date. They never called to schedule an installation. The following Monday morning (around 8:15 am) I was getting ready for work and I heard a faint knock at my front door. The doorbell wasn’t used, so I looked to see who it was. To my shock, a crew was in my front yard, with ladders and boxes set up. I had NO appointment set, no contract signed (they emailed me an agreement which all parties needed to sign but we did not even get to that point), no deposit made, and no knowledge of a crew coming over to my house. I immediately asked them to stop and put the scheduler on the phone. Next I get a call from the owner and he started talking about traffic on I-75 when I asked what was going on. I asked this man how they could just show up without an appointment after having told me this was the next step. In addition, I told him we had a 9 am work ordinance and if they had called and properly scheduled an appointment I would have discussed this with them. I was given no clear answer to my scheduling question so I told them to leave immediately. This type of thing is not supposed to happen in real life

    Extremely poor communication and expensive. The only times they were prompt on communication was to collect the deposit and to collect the balance once the job was done. Originally signed the contract on 12/09/2020 and heard nothing for a month. Without notice the builder showed up a month later only to identify that what was quoted is not possible. We then signed an addendum on 01/20/2021 for the work. There was no communication for over another month until I contacted them and asked for an update. On 03/04/2021 I was messaged that the work would start on Monday, 03/08/2021. When the work did not start, I asked for an update and was told the work would start by 10 AM the next day... Again it did not. Work finally started on 03/10/2021, took about 10 days to complete since the workers were here a bit sporadically. Ultimately, the work done was acceptable and the builder was a nice guy. I fully understand that the weather needed to be warm enough to pour cement without jeopardizing the integrity of the cement but for the premium I paid to use a Avalon I expected much better communication throughout the process and it should have been done and cleaned up within 3-5 days
