THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY I had 3 years left on the warranty for my shingles when the roof started leaking. I went on to the roof to check for any damage to the roof (like a branch falling on it or something).There was no physical damage to the shingles. I called WMR 3 times over a two and a half week period. Each time I was told by the receptionist that "tyler" would be coming out to take a look at it. "tyler" never showed. I got tired of playing the phone game (call them and notify them that your roof is leaking - no call back) and gave up. I will have to fix it myself. THEY DON'T HONOR THEIR WARRANTY

My husband and chose this company to replace our roof several years ago. It has been a very poor experience from the start. The company does not call when they need to reschedule and shows up whenever they please with no communication. They do not return phone calls and do not share what work was completed when doing repairs. We paid for a high quality roofing materials as our house had a roof that was currently leaking. After replacing the entire roof the leak continued and after many phone calls and repairs it was finally fixed a year later. We currently have another leak due to an improperly place vent that is causing a leak on our back porch windows. Yet again they were scheduled and did not show up to complete the job. We constantly have to call to find out when the job will be completed. Still waiting for a call back and we are currently in the process of trying to sell our home, making this all the more frustrating.

All work was done on time. The roof and chimney cricket appeared to work well after several days of heavy rains following the installation. The gutter guards were not secured correctly and some blew out of the gutters and lifted up from the gutters during the rains. West Michigan Roofing was informed of this and repairs were made promptly after.

They were supposed to call us on a Wednesday and let know which day the following week they were going to be out there. They never called, so we called that friday. They said Tuesday and that someone had to be there. So my husband who works 3rd shift and I went there 1st thing when he got out of work at 7am. By 10am no one was there so we called and they said they couldn't make it that day because they had to finish a roof from yesterday. They would be there tomorrow Wednesday. So we get there there the next day and the workers arrive around 9:3am but there is no shingles or dumpster, that doesn't arrive until noon. They leave at 2pm. (This was supposed to be a one day job). The next day they're there early, but leave again at 2pm, same for the 3rd day. But the 3rd day they're finished. So now it's time for the walk around. We try to get ahold of Mike the guy we've been talking to about the roof the whole time. No answer. It takes a month before we do the walk around. Does the roof look good? Yes! But with all the B.S. we had to go through wasn't worth it.

Terrible looking job, what an ugly mess! Worse yet it leaked at the first rain. Took 3 days to get a phone call returned. The second crew did find the leaks and repaired them. It looks terrible, but at least it doesn't leak.

It went GREAT!!!  From the very beginning with the salesman, Edward who is awesome to work it.  The installation was completed in one day, clean up was great and most importantly our roof looks incredible, so happy with this company.  Would recommend them to anyone in need of a roof.  Great job done!!!

They were dpne within a day.  There was an error on the valleys.  They were originally supposed to be metal, but this didn't get transferred from the quote to the order.  We were offered to have it fixed or leave the shingle valleys with an adjustment to the price. The salesman was apologetic and took full responsibility.

They did a fine job. They did spend the first day putting on the wrong shingle however. When returning home from work I noticed the roof not being the shingle we chose. We called and they apologized. Someone on their end didn't complete the order correctly and they tore off the wrong shingle and then had the correct shingle put on. They were very easy to work with and quickly corrected their mistake. They cleaned up after themselves pretty well. They did leave some small chicken bones in our yard which my dog found the next day and proceeded to eat. I was able to pull them out of her mouth so she is fine. I did call them and they said we got the 2nd crew and not the 1st crew. I guess the 1st crew is the better one and cleaner. So if you hire them, insist on the very best crew and comb over your yard after they leave for trash. All in all, they came highly recommended and did the job. So far, no leaks and our roof looks awesome.

Great! Entire roof completed in one day. Team worked 12 hours and cleaned up well. Also allowed us to purchase extra material so that we could replace the shed roof ourselves. Great experience and have gotten lots of compliments!

Everything was done to our satisfaction.  They did a great job tying up all the loose ends like painting some rails that were scuffed, cleaning up the job site and doing a thorough walk through with the "punch List" before billing us for the last payment.

They did a great job for us.  They used a large crew and got the job done in one day.

Great work. They were careful and neat and looks great.

The charged me 75 dollars and hour for  3 hours for 3 guys to slide 3 replacement boots over existing vent tubes and calked them. It could have been done in one hour with one guy!

The job was done quickly and efficiently,basically one day. Price was fair for work done.

We got bids from several, highly-rated roofing companies. The folks at West Michigan were courteous, prompt, and thorough. I never felt that I was being "sold" or pressured. They presented their company and our roofing options, and they answered our questions so that when we were ready to make a decision, we felt very informed about what we were getting. They got the work done professionally and quickly. Not only did we feel we were getting the best work and product, we also got the best price of all the companies we requested bids from. I have recommended them to family and friends, and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

The company was great from start to finish. Salesman was extremely thorough, going over in great detail the entire process, the materials that would be used, and explaining the differences in materials and shingles. We obtained quotes from several different companies and while West Michigan was not the cheapest, the quality of work was worth every penny paid. The roof if beautiful. The staff was responsive and professional. The crew that installed the roof was extremely good, making sure everything was cleaned up before they left.  Could not be happier with the company.
