- Tommy's Floor CoveringThey did work for two days and did an excellent job. They were on time on both the days. They came in, did the work and cleaned everything. They cleaned up after themselves very well on both days. One of their staff was very nice and professional. One day, he did not call me at the time he said he would. So, he called me the following morning, told me the reason for not having called me and apologised. He was not disrespectful to me in any way and very kind to have listened to all the things I had to say. I had to have a surgery the following week and he made sure he had time to do the flooring and made sure he finished everything before my surgery. He was very nice and the company was very good. I had another service provider who estimated the work for $1136 and they would not even take my old floor off whereas, Tommy's Floor Covering did the work as well as took the old floor off, cleaned everything and charged me only $580. Also, they were knowledgeable and personable. I don't understand how the other service provider expected me to take the old floor off when I did not know anything about flooring. Then they said they would recommend somebody else for that job and didn't
- H & H DEEP CLEAN SYSTEMSI hired H&H to clean my white ceramic tile floors and grout after another company I had hired several months earlier had made a mess of my floors. The first company cleaned the grout and tile but also applied a sealant throughout the floors. At the time I did not know that the sealant was not necessary and should not be applied to ceramic tile. Within a few weeks the sealant began to peel all over and it made my white floors look brownish, dirty and ugly. I searched Angie's list for another company to redo my floors and found H&H. When I first called the company I spoke to Kevin, the owner. I told him the problem, thinking he might not want to touch someone else's mess. However, he did not hesitate. He came to my house, saw the floors and informed me that the sealant should not have been applied. He gave me the estimate to strip the sealant from the entire floor and clean the tile. I do have a significant square footage of floor! I decided to hire his company and Kevin and his brother Jim came on the day that I requested. They stripped all sealant and cleaned the floors. In one area of the floor the sealant was especially difficult to remove because the sealant was very gummy. However, they did an exceptional job! My floors are now clean, white and beautiful! I am very happy with their work. It is obvious that Kevin and Jim have a strong work ethic. They demonstrated a pride in their work that is not frequently seen, thus my beautiful floors. It is hard to find a company that is professional, does high quality work and is trustworthy like H&H. I wish I had found them first! I must also add that despite one area being harder to clean than they may have thought, they charged me the exact estimate price. So they are true to their quotes. Also, they pay attention to detail. For example, Jim checked the bottom of the legs of my den furniture. He stated that many times the protective plastic covering comes off and exposes a nail. The exposed nail can scratch the tile when they move the furniture. In fact, there were a couple of exposed nails and he hammered them down. He did not have to do that, but he did. I will definitely use their services again. I highly recommend H&H to anyone and everyone for their tile cleaning. Thank you Kevin and Jim for your excellent work

They came to the house, did everything they said they would do -- clean the floor, made sure all the stains were removed and then sealed the grout. They took care to keep the other floor clean and dry while doing the cleaning. Even repaired a dryer vent that had a hole in it.I have a little over 300 sq ft. so it cost me an additional $11 above the big deal. They are knowledgeable on the different types of tiles, very courteous and professional. Have already recommended them to one person and would definitely recommend them again and use them again for other services.

"I am so happy with the flooring job Tommy's did on my house. They totally removed all the gross carpet, tile and vinyl in my older house and hauled it all away so I wouldn't have to deal with it. They did such a beautiful job laying my new flooring and baseboard and gave such special attention to detail. They had no problem with all the weird nooks and crannies and were able to seamlessly lay the floor without even needing transitions. They were much more affordable than other quotes I recieved and even got the job done a full day earlier than expected!
