If you're anxiously searching for contractors for bath/kitchen remodel projects. Your search can stop here with Tom Moore from All About Tiles. Tom and his partner Todd did an amazing job for our hall bathroom remodel. They're professional, knowledgeable, and thoughtful. Their artisan skills, integrity and work ethic are truly hard to find. Our hall bathroom renovation (bath tub changed to walk-in shower, replace vanity top and floor etc) was our first remodel project. I was anxious looking for the right contractor until I met Tom. His professionalism and years of knowledge came across from our first meeting and discussion about our project. He really put my anxiety at ease from that point on. His quote was fair, detailed and organized. We know clearly what we need to purchase and prepare. The communication prior to and throughout the project was great. I called/texted Tom several occasions prior to the start of the project on questions of choosing different materials/products to purchase. He responded timely and was so patient and helpful each time. We changed the scope of our project adding a few more items right before the project started. Tom was able to accommodate, the cost addition was very reasonable. Tom is very organized, planned out work in detail, the project progressed very smoothly. They were so thoughtful, protected our floors and things, cleaned up each day before they leave. Tom took the time to talk to us before he left what to expect for the next day and made sure the materials needed are available. I learned so much about bathroom renovation from him. Their work ethic and artisan skills they demonstrate throughout the project are admirable. They're creative and also meticulous in their work, precise and took care all the details with esthetic and functions in mind. Tom found a flaw in design of the shower door we purchased. He took his time and studied the door after work, discussed with us, problem solved and found solution for it. Our teen boys are really enjoys the new walk-in shower and using this bathroom. They love talking shower so much that my water bill went up a bit, a good problem just like what Tom had predicted:) Highly highly recommend and we'll definitely ask Tom and Todd for our future bath and kitchen projects!

  • Tarvin Plumbing

Excellent. They knew the equipment as they installed 10 years earlier...they had the part.. they had an experience plumber... and they were a short drive away so they responded and quickly made the repair and we could get on with our day. It was almost like having a "Drive-through experience" in plumbing... in fact, it seems faster than some "Drive-throughs" I have experienced

She worked really well with us and the remodel team. We would use her again without hesitation

  • MEYER BROTHERS & SONS INC
    5.0
This project is the second time we hired Meyer Brothers & Sons so, yes, we would hire them again. They are good people to work with from concept to reality. The Meyer Brothers & Sons employees show up when they say they will, get their work done, and clean up at the end of each day. We had a daily schedule before the project began so we knew what to expect each day. Their response to email messages and phone calls is great - within a day and most times the same day. The finished project looks professional and magazine-worthy. Everyone we worked with is friendly and shares his/her knowledge to questions in their expertise. They sub-contracted/outsourced electrical, tile, and plumbing work to professionals who were easy to work with too. We had a small project, not related to this work, that the company couldn't take on with this project, so one of the Meyer sons gave us a recommendation for a company they've used who might be able to help us

  • Erik Gustav & Sons Inc
    4.0
Erik was hired to install IKEA cabinets in our home for a full kitchen renovation. I felt confident in assembling the cabinets and finishing them (doors, hardware, drawers, toe kicks, etc) but we wanted a professional to make sure the cabinets were hung level, plumb, and square. From our first conversation it was obvious that Erik is an expert in all things IKEA. He provided some guidance and changes to our design to make some subtle improvements that would not have been obvious to us. He also immediately identified a critical flaw in our design that would have greatly impacted the final outcome but luckily we had enough time to get the proper replaced item. Communication with Erik was decent but be prepared for patience with emails and texts. Phone calls seemed to be most effective. Also be prepared to be patient for his schedule. Despite our efforts to plan ahead and get on “his radar” back in July, it still took several rounds of calls and discussions to finally get a week nailed down and the arrival day wasn’t determined until the week-of. You will need to be flexible. The installation was very fast - he had all of the work completed in one day. He is also very precise and detailed. He took time to show me how cabinets were anchored to the wall, that cabinets were level and prepped for the countertop template. He also cleaned up nicely, was courteous in our home and has a professional demeanor. The installation wasn’t without issue though. He accidentally stepped on a weak piece of our corner cabinet and broke it. His solution was to “sister” a piece below it. I was told it wouldn’t affect the countertops as this had no load bearing properties and it won’t be visible once countertops are installed. I believe that he is correct, and accidents happen, but it was disappointing as mishaps was something I wanted to avoid and large reason why we elected to hire someone rather than do the installation ourselves. No adjustment was made to the agreed upon price to account for the broken cabinet which I felt would have been the appropriate thing to do even it was a minor reduction. Overall, I would hire Erik again and be better prepared to be patient and clearly a communicate my expectations. He is precise, detailed, and very knowledgeable on IKEA systems. His involvement resulted in a nice overall outcome

  • Ideal Garage Solutions LLC
    5.0
We cannot say enough about how impressed we are with Ideal Garage Solutions. Brad Miller and his team of professionals are top notch to say the least. They took the time to get to know us and understand what we were looking for in a garage upgrade without trying to sell us what we did not need. We were provided with computer generated drawings and a detailed description and cost of the products we were interested in. Upon install, we were extremely pleased with the quality of the floor coating, cabinets, overhead storage unit and slat wall. Our whole experience from consultation to installation and follow up was one of the best we have ever had with any company we have worked with in the past 27+ years. Without hesitation, we would recommend Ideal Garage Solutions

  • MEYER BROTHERS & SONS INC
    4.0
Meyer Brothers was absolutely wonderful to work with. From the moment we engaged the architectural team to start planning our project to completing the punch list items at the very end, their team has been professional, extremely responsive and helpful. They adjusted plans along the way to accommodate for things we changed on the fly, they communicated project status and problems weekly and came up with creative solves for every issue that came up. We worked with multiple people on their team, and everyone that came to our house seemed to be well informed as to the scope of our project and what they needed to accomplish that day/week. They really helped us feel as though we were "part" of the team even though we weren't doing any of the hard work. They finished ahead of schedule and the finished product looks better than I ever could have imagined. I would recommend this team hands down to anyone looking to do a Reno with high-quality craftsmanship, materials and service

  • Annie Miller Designs
    2.0
Annie is a talented designer and was pleasant to work with. I wanted to write a positive review. However, I am extremely disappointed by the quality of the cabinets that she sold us. We had originally agreed on maple cabinets but, based on the colors we chose, the cabinets listed on our final contract were changed to Poplar. I asked about the quality and durability of poplar cabinets and Annie assured us that they were high quality. Some of the drawer fronts arrived already scratched. Those were replaced, but one year into our kitchen renovation every single cabinet door and drawer face has been marred and gauged. The wood is so soft it can be scratched by a fingernail or plastic utensil. The larger pantry doors have bowed and no longer close fully. The moulding has pulled away from the ceiling and all the toe boards have detached. The hinge screws have backed out and stripped the poplar wood holes. When we told Annie about these issues a few months after the remodel was complete, she sent the regional Aspect representative to look at the damage. His explanation was, “Well, they’re not high-end cabinets,” and referred us to a furniture restoration company, recommending they come and refinish the cabinets every few years. He also shoved some toothpicks into the stripped hinges and screwed them back together. These poplar cabinets are of the quality that someone might use to flip a house, but not to live in. We are extremely stressed out by this kitchen. Imagine having to constantly tell the kids not to touch the drawers or even play in the kitchen for fear of another scratch or gauge. But it’s no use – every single time something touches a cabinet it leaves a dent. There is no resolution at this point, since cabinets are so central to the kitchen, and replacing them again would mean we need to replace countertops and everything else. So, we had a complete kitchen remodel and with disposable, cheap cabinetry. Part of this is my fault for not doing cabinet research myself, but the reason we hired a designer was so they would do this kind of research for us. We are extremely disappointed. Annie’s contractor, Tom McCane, left a lot of unfinished work. Once the hardwood floors were installed, the door frames no longer met the flooring. He claimed to not have time to replace the frames. The ductwork vents he installed were the wrong color so he suggested we buy some spray paint and spray them to match. All of the cabinet toe boards have detached. The drawer sides are scratched because of improper installation of the drawer rails. He removed 4” crown moulding around the fireplace and replaced it with a 1” flat strip of wood. Overall it was rushed and sloppy, and when we would request he fix anything, there was a significant upcharge. We would not recommend using this company unless you are doing a quick flip of a house you don’t plan to live in
