- Chanson WaterChanson Water provides excellent products, and their filters for the Chanson water ionizer and the nano filtration system are very good. The nano filter captures many of the bad minerals and other unwanted organisms from the drinking water which we were able to tell as one of the filters was full of iron (our water tests high in iron). The customer service was decent, but they need to be more competitive with discounts or free shipping which other companies are offering. We like the water system we have, and we use it along with our structured water machine as we read that it is not good to drink the alkaline ionized water on a full time basis
- Hoover Plumbing LLCI was very pleased when Garrett completed his extraordinary efforts to get our water service back into usable condition. For the amount of thought and effort he put out, I felt that the charge was very reasonable. The first call to Hoover Plumbing was made when I got up early on the morning of 6/25 and discovered that we had no water at all coming into the house. Garrett called me back well before 8:00 am and said that he had another appointment for 8:30 am and would call me as soon as he got through there. He did that and got to the house around 10:45 am. He quickly made repairs to the broken water pipe outside the house. A little while after he left, we found that some of the toilets would not flush and the cold water faucets only flowed at a trickle. I called Garrett and told him what was happening. He came back out and, after much unrewarded work, discovered that the rush of water back into the house had flushed the softener beads in the water softener system in the basement into the pipes throughout the house effectively clogging up the toilet fixtures and the cold water faucets. The only reason that the hot water worked OK was that the beads had not completely filled the hot water heater tank - yet. Garrett built a bypass to remove the water softener system from the pipes (We were not using it anyway). He also worked at each faucet, shower, toilet, and the hot water heater to clear the beads from the system and replace the parts that were now made unusable. He spent the greater part of his day at our house putting our water system back into usable shape. He is an outstanding service provider. Because of this experience and other previous times that Garrett and the other Hoover Plumbing guys have helped us out in plumbing malfunctions, we will always call them for any future plumbing needs of any kind. Their experience level and willingness to do whatever it takes to fix our plumbing problems has proved them to be a valuable source every time we've had a need for their services. We will definitely recommend them to anyone we meet who has a plumbing problem

"UPDATED REVIEW: I'm upgrading my rating from 1 star to 3 stars. The reason is once the owner/service manager got wind of my bad and grossly over-charged service call, he contacted me directly and even came out to my house to take a first-hand look, and after he personally inspected and evaluated the job and to his credit, he refunded us 68% of the total charge of $624. He also checked our water heater configuration for carbon monoxide leaks and gave advice on what's considered out of code and what's considered in code. I must say most other companies wouldn't even bother to do a follow-up phone call, much less come out to your house and personally issue a refund. So kudos to Wilbur ACH&P for having very proactive customer service and marketing departments. Why only 3 stars? Well, this bad experience did actually happen. We can't just simply erase from memory the reality of enduring such a perplexing experience of how replacing a water heater shut-off valve (a replacement valve I had) could cost 624 bucks! Most importantly, however, they did make it right at the end of the day.

"It took a little while to figure out what they needed to do, but they finally gave us a new resin for our water softener which has helped it to work much better. They also assisted us in getting the grains set properly on the water softener. They took a water sample for an iron test but did not call us back on the results. Their pricing was better than others.
