"I love my new beautiful composite deck Jeff built! I am so happy I chose A-1 Quality Carpentry. I met with several contractors in January 2021 as I knew I wanted to replace my wooden deck with a composite deck since I was tired of restaining and replacing boards on old deck. Jeff was very polite, professional, and on time. I remember when he came out to give me an estimate in January it was very cold and I offered him in the house to walk out to the deck and he said he would meet me in the back and it was the time COVID was still new and he had his mask on. That told me he cared. It was between him and another contractor, I chose Jeff even though he was a little higher than the other contractor and I had to wait longer with Jeff because he was booked. The reason I chose Jeff was because he always responded to all me emails as I had alot of questions and he was always responding in a fast manner whereas the other company would take 5-7 days to respond. I am a picky person and like to know what things are going to look like and Jeff gave me the address to his supplier so I could go look and get samples of different colors of composite decking. Jeff called me a week ahead of schedule time to ask if I wanted him to start earlier and of course I said YES! I felt so bad for Jeff as when he came out on day 1 to do demolation it was raining. He worked in the rain. When he was done, he told me the time he would be out the next day. Yes, he was on time and I was amazed how much work he got done in 1 day, he arrived the next day and again it was raining off and on and he finished my deck. From start to finish he was done in 3 days and he worked all my himself! I wanted a person who was the only one working on the deck, that is another reason I chose him. He cleaned up the area and was so polite during the whole construction of this deck, He never left the premises and only took a short break to his truck to grab a bite to eat. I highly recommend his company and he is definately worth the wait. Seeing that he is busy and booked out alot speaks for itself, that should tell you he is good. The name of is company fits his work, he does A-1 QUALITY WORK! Thank you again Jeff for the great job you did on my deck!"
