"Jim Sullivan and his crew were punctual and efficient. They did removal of one 40’ Aspen and shaped and laced three Elms ALL IN ONE DAY! When big cuts were needed Jim consulted with me first to be sure everything was to my desire and he also counseled me on what is best and healthiest for our trees. I’ve been a home owner for almost 30 years and have had to hire many tree services, but I’ve never been so happy and felt so comfortable with the advice and expertise as I have with Wyoming tree service. We’re customers for life. Thanks Jim!!"

"Carr Tree Experts, are a great company that gives you a bang for your buck! Mr. Carr came personally himself with a very good helper Jeremy and although it was for an estimate of the project, they did the jo right then and there! The price was sooo reasonable and the did a good job trimming my Spruce tree that had a bunch of dead limbs that I couldn t get to. He gave me a senior citizen and a veterans discount plus! A very kind, gracious, friendly and professional knowledgeable caring man and company! I d highly recommend Carr Tree Experts to anyone needing a great company to do their project!"

"Santiago and his crew are easy to work with, very professional, and do more than excellent concrete they do vinyl fencing with the same professional manner. In over 36 years of home ownership and having concrete pour I have never had a contractor that did it the old fashioned way with rebar and drilling rebar into any existing foundation. Thats hhow my grandpa and father said it was done right. All my other pours with other contractors were met with ?the fiberglass concrete is stronger than any rebar or mesh?. And over 36 years I had. Racked concrete. Santiago poured 28 yards of concrete and I am more than a satisfied customer. I?m a supporter."

"The 35-foot Siberian Elm in our front yard was not able to survive the early sub-zero temps of October 2014. After researching Angie's list and several other venues it became obvious that All Trees was the place to call. Cory came out and verified that our tree was in fact dying like so many other elms in Wyoming as a result of the cold snap. His bid was extremely competitive so we had him put us on his list to remove the tree and trim the others which luckily did survive the cold. Last month once the day for work came around it unfortunately coincided with the wedding of our son and his bride-to-be set for the following day. You can imagine how our home was a zoo with foot traffic with tons of people coming in and out of the house all day long. But the All Trees crew was totally professional, amazingly patient and incredibly efficient while removing such a large tree. They conducted their work safely while often waiting for our family and guests to come and go. My message to others is really very simple: if you need tree service and you don't call All Trees then you've made a terrible mistake. Your problems will be solved with just one call. Simple."

"They gave me a bid a couple weeks before, (I knew it was going to be a lot of work and not going to be cheap) I talked to the Tree service owner and asked if they could work out payments? with an acceptable down payment, they made it happen and spend all day in the cold, on a Friday, but didn't leave until all 4 Dead trees was cut down in a nice pile for me to try and offer for Sale, I also asked them to dump the shredded material near the stack so we could use it for land scraping cover over the next few years. the crew was very respectful and even put up with a complaining neighbor next door. they did a great job trying to clean up the area, which was in a challenging area to work in.

Tree Service questions, answered by experts

Unless there’s some sort of rule in your community’s homeowners’ association that requires you to remove a stump, there’s no law that says you have to take it out. If you’re not wedded to the idea of removing it, there are plenty of ways to get creative with this tree remnant. Using the stump as the medium for a wood carving or turning it into a planter are just two examples of ways to repurpose a tree stump.

Unlike some fruit trees, such as apple, sweet cherry, or pear that require at least two trees for pollination, most peach trees are self-pollinating. This means you can plant just one tree and still expect it to produce fruit, typically within two to four years. For best results, consult with a local landscaper to choose the right peach tree variety for your specific climate, soil type, and yard layout.

Bleach can potentially kill some types of delicate ornamental trees, but for the most part, it will only kill the foliage it comes in contact with. Applying bleach is not an effective method of killing a tree. A better option is to use an herbicide, which is a chemical compound designed to effectively kill a tree.

It is possible to cut down a tree on your property yourself, but it is generally not recommended unless specific conditions are met. You should only consider this project if the tree is small (e.g., under 4-5 inches in diameter and short enough that you don't need a ladder to reach the branches), and you are experienced in handling a chainsaw. The tree must also be located far from any power lines, fences, homes, or other structures. Even for small trees, the work can be dangerous, and it's always advisable to have a spotter to ensure the tree falls correctly and no branches fall on you.

For any tree that is large, requires a ladder to access, or is near electrical lines or structures, you should always hire a professional. Attempting to remove a large tree yourself is extremely dangerous, poses a risk of serious injury, and could result in significant damage to your property.

Before any tree removal, it's also important to check your local and state regulations to ensure the tree is not historic or otherwise protected by your city.

If an arborist is certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), the highest level of certification available is ISA Board Certified Master Arborist. According to the ISA, this credential is reserved for arborists “who have reached the pinnacle of their profession.” Check your arborist’s credentials before hiring to confirm their level of training and expertise.
