"Excellent. He squeezed us in with our very small project before he started on a big project. Destroying our old deck before installing new one, my yard looked like a war zone, had my doubts, but after the job completed, everything was perfect. Except for the deck. You couldn't even see what work was completed. Recommend him highly. Will use again..."
"I must say that we are highly pleased with the work completed by Valor Home Solutions. Ammaron spent most of one day with us working on a plan as to what we wanted as a finished product. At the end of our meeting, we knew what to expect in regard to cost in material, labor, and quality of work.
This project involved remodeling a very old bathroom. The old tub was removed, a new modern walk-in shower was installed with all new plumbing, a new floor was installed and deteriorated wood replaced where needed, and a new vanity was installed. Valor Home Solutions did an excellent job at keeping communication open throughout the project. Nothing was done without checking with us to make sure everything was to our expectations and satisfaction.
I highly recommend this company to everyone in search of a professional contractor to remodel any part of their home. I am more than happy to have my name used as a referral for Valor Home Solutions.

"Sam was quick to call me back and schedule an estimate meeting time for the next day. He was on time to the estimate meeting and quickly provided a written estimate. Once I approved the estimate on line he called and scheduled install of closed cell spray foam within the week. Sam and his crew showed up a few minutes early, did the job to perfection, left the area neat and tidy. Great young business owner and hard worker. Would recommend to anyone and everyone.!!!"
"AHS is ok. They cover repairs of most everything under the roof of your house. The companies that contract with them are not always the best. You call AHS with the issue, they send a fax to the repair company and give you the contact info. If they don't contact you within 24 hours, you call them. Sometimes they answer, sometimes they don't. When they arrive (usually three days or so later), they service the item. if it has issues within the 90 days, you call AHS again, they are sent out with no charge. If the serviceman decides the unit is unrepairable, AHS will allow you to choose a replacement from their listing (usually not as good as what you have) they will install and remove your old item, or give you wholesale amount to buy and install your own. Prices vary on what you want covered and what you want the copay to be, plus where you live. For me it is 49.99 per month with a 75.00 time of service order. You can have more than one item serviced at the same time under the same fee. If you have a SEAR product the repair guys are great. Not that wild about the other ones they send out. But it is a big savings compared to calling someone on your own. The cost of service is only the 75.00 copay."
There are a few ways to save money on egress window installation. First, choosing pre-fabricated windows instead of custom windows can help dramatically reduce the overall cost. In addition, skipping window extras, like customized frames or window film, can help save money on the price tag without sacrificing the window itself. You should also shop around to multiple window installers to find the best installation deal without sacrificing the quality of the window.
DIY is possible for experienced individuals. Professional installation ensures compliance with building codes and proper sealing.
There are a range of egress window types available, including:
Single-hung: $100–$400
Double-hung: $250–$500
Horizontal/sliding: $150–$800
Casement: $200–$500
In-swing: $350–$700
When choosing a type of egress window, consider how you’d like to open it. For example, double-hung egress windows open from top to bottom and let plenty of fresh air in, whereas sliding windows slide open for easy access.
You install a window well 8 to 12 inches deeper than the base of the window sill. After filling the well with drainage rock, the well should sit 3 inches below the bottom of the window. The top of the window well should also be at least 3 inches higher than the surface-grade ground. The window well should be about 6 inches wider than the window opening.
Installing a window well costs anywhere from $500 to $1,500 or more. Adding an egress window and well runs about $3,900 on average. Adding a window well cover to the project can add $200 to $700. A well cover helps protect your egress windows from weather damage and keeps them clear of dirt, debris, and wildlife.
