Best kitchen cabinet refacing pros near Shepherdstown, WV

"I hate being condescended to. Listen to what I want and then give suggestions on how I might be able to work that out in my kitchen. Don't just tell me it can't be done. I felt like I was wasting my time. I asked about a particular type of closet (not realizing it was part of a bigger cabinet...how would I know) and she told me to follow her (using her finger to me like a child) and said I couldn't have it because it was as part of a bigger piece. She could have just said that. I said if I can't make my kitchen more "usable" (less wasted space), WHY to with custom cabinets. I could just reface. The woman behind me who was waiting to ask her a question said. Listen, if you can't get what you want, I don't blame you for not spending the money. It's easy to reface. So, I called another company and, low and behold, I'm getting partial refacing and partial custom cabinets. He came and we discussed HOW I could get my carousel cabinet (uh - he suggested I go from a double to a single sink - easy peasy) AND, he came in at half the price your website suggested I might pay. It is really nice to be listened to...especially when it's MY money I'm spending."

"Working with James was a wonderful experience from the first phone call to the finished product! Any worries I originally had about starting my custom cabinets project went away when James brought his professionalism and expertise. His knowledge and craftsmanship was one of a kind and he was able to offer ideas and suggestions along the way that would best achieve my goal. His communication was very consistent as he kept me updated on the work with pictures, phone calls, etc. I would absolutely say that the quality work and skill he provides is worth every dollar."

"Great! He arrived on time, with the right amount of crew, tools and positive attitude! He was very experienced with Ikea cabinets and knew when we had purchased the wrong items. He also knew when to send me back to Ikea for different parts. Ikea made alot of mistakes and he knew that was common. He wrote down the numbers of the items i needed which was extremely helpful. He and his crew were fantastic and i would hire him again in the future. His prices were very reasonable and i appreciated that. I had two glass doors that were on back order so he said i could hold back $200 from his pay until they czme in. I called him on Sunday and told him i just picked them up. He told me they would be there on Monday morning to finish the job. Of course he arrived on time and he finished the job quickly. Of the 4 companies i hired to do various things in my kitchen his was the only one i didnt have issues with. I asked him to install the lights inside and underneath the cabinets and install the microwave. The lights were difficult but he worked hard until they were done. They make the whole kitchen shine! He was extremely reasonable with the microwave installation price. I asked him for several cards and already passed them out to people that wanted a new kitchen i told them he is the best installer i ever hired. He made this overwhelming project so much easier."

"We love our cabinets! They look fantastic while remaining affordable. The friendly staff at AWD helped us from start to finish. They are very knowledgeable and gave us advice and tips when needed. They were receptive and patient with our ever-changing needs. Once we finalized our purchase, we received our cabinets within two weeks! The cabinets are very sturdy and the color is beautiful. The hinges and hardware are high quality. We are extremely pleased with AWD and would recommend them to any friends or family looking for good cabinets at a fair price."

"Handyman Connection sent Todd Larsen, a plumber, when I made a request for one. Instead I got a skilled professional who understood how to do the job, a perfectionist that was able to solve developing issues on the run when the job threaten to stop the project. Time and again Todd solved work progress issues without excuses. The job was completed faster than expected at a reasonable price. Way to go Handyman Connection. Neftali Diaz 2/1/2020"

"Contractor called ahead to let me know he was on the way to replace my leaking kitchen sink. The "plumber" who originally installed the PVC pipes and and strainer baskets in the sink had glued all of the joints! Also, the waste line in the crawl space was never attached. I'm happy to report that all of these issues were resolved in a professional manner and we will be using All Pro Building Services for other projects around the house."
